just booked and canceled mooring as it was so expensive .. not sure why so much its just a ball!! wanted $110 for a 52 + wanted to charge our friends an additional charge for hooking up with us!! we are not all millionaires...

When I called to make reservation I was told the mooring rate was $75. So we decided to anchor instead. Our friends with same sized boat were charged $55 and when I just went online and put in boat info it was also $55.
Marina Response:
Hi Destiny, I'm sorry you were quoted the wrong price. Our mooring prices during peak season for a boat under 50 ft are $75 Thursday-Sunday and $55 Monday-Wednesday. As of September 15th, our prices changed over into off-season prices. During the off-season, moorings are $55 per night everyday of the week for boats under 50 feet. Hope that helps. --Taylor

Beautiful harbor. Very peaceful. Not a lot to do. The moorings are right along the channel. There are six. #2 is not marked with a number. They are the yellow buckets. We had trouble identifying as did another boat coming in to find their mooring. The office closes at 5:00 so you are on your own to find your mooring if you show up late. But overall a very nice spot and we will be back.
Marina Response:
We appreciate the feedback and are looking for a way to improve the visibility of the numbers on our moorings. Look forward to having you back in the future.

Gorgeous, peaceful harbor, perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Town is an Uber ride away and the marina is a 10 minute dinghy ride. New restrooms, showers, laundry and clubhouse are first rate. Channel is plenty deep enough for our 7’ draft.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the review! Hope to see you again at our moorings.

The mooring pickup & twin hawsers were immaculate. It was nice to have such clean lines to bring aboard. The few moorings are very well spaced. Privacy was easy and restful! The harbor is pretty large, but even arriving with about 20 knows from the NW there was not much movement. A strong SW the next day offered the same easy boat movement. Resident boaters seemed considerate leaving little wake. When we finally found the home base for our mooring field the ship's store was complete and fun to look around. We were never offered the combination for the restrooms/showers, but it was unlocked, but be sure to ask. The writeup said they had Wi-Fi, but I forgot to ask if it would reach the mooring area and for the password. Ask. There was no info sheet and no greeting offered. Upon arrival we did not know what mooring to pickup and my note beforehand went unanswered so after being shifted to a few different phone numbers the lady said just pick up any of their moorings. Eating out anywhere now is pretty sketchy, so do your research in advance. This is not a hot spot. You will have to look around for simple food. With a major thunderstorm and tornado warnings on tap we never did find any easy options for takeout. However, if you want peace, quiet, and a good rest this is your port. My wife was entertained by dozens of terns landing on the bow rail in the morning, and taking advantage of the gunnel and seats of the dinghy. Going for a dinghy ride later meant I had to be happy conducting a complete cleaning of the bird poop there and on the forward deck. Snapping a towel at them the next day caused them to find another resting place. Entrance to the harbor through the inlet in easier than I expected. The current was swift. Just enough speed to keep steerage had us doing 8 knots on the incoming tide.

The harbor is very nice And well protected and the mooring well taken care of. Unfortunately the mooring is a very long distance from the marina and a very long dinghy ride to the dinghy dock.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the feedback, we'll do better in the future to inform customers of the distance from the moorings to the marina.

Super location and the mooring are nicely distanced from each other. The marina staff are friendly and helpful!

Beautiful harbor, nice moorings (secure & clean) with large space between them. Only difficulty was finding the mooring. Other than that, the people could not have been nicer.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the feedback! Did you have difficulty finding the specific number/assignment or finding the mooring field? We'd like to improve our reservations in the future and welcome suggestions.

Their staff was helpful and it's nice to have access to their amenities like a free laundry room and brand new clubhouse just for being on the mooring. They also have a well stocked marine store with good prices and a bike rack to lock your bike at. And if you aren't staying with them because you're anchored, you can use their dinghy dock if you spend $10 at their marine store. One day they had to move us from the mooring to a dock due to tropical storm Asais and gave us a very good deal on the dockage fee. They are honest family run marina. We will stay again.
Marina Response:
Thank-you very much! We look forward to having you at our marina again.

This is an undiscovered jewel! We’ve been coming to three mile harbor for years- always a beautiful open harbor with good holding for anchoring. However, we never knew about the rental moorings which makes coming here even more terrific. (With the blow that came through this morning, being on a mooring let’s us sleep better.) The new bathrooms are beautiful and immaculate, and the ships store is well stocked with anything nautical you could need. We are having such a delightful time, we decided to stay another night! Perfect place for social distancing, too.
Marina Response:
Thank-you! Glad you had a pleasant stay and we hope to see you again in Three Mile Harbor.

A quick overnight stop. The moorings were excellent and appeared to be new and little used. We’ll be planning our next visit very soon.

We had a great relaxing time - what a beautiful spot. The only thing they could "fix" is the mooring numbers are too hard to see!
Marina Response:
Thanks for staying with us! Glad you enjoyed your stay at our moorings.
