Lovely creek, clean marina, great service docking and departure

Stayed here for one day. I am always amazed by the friendly & professional support we get at Bohicket. Harrison, the dock master provided excellent support he is very knowledgeable of the high current conditions & provides exceptional & accurate advice when docking. the conditions of the facility are excellent. We'll be back next year.

Beautiful little Marina, great GM Harrison. Hunkered down there during hurricane Isaias and had no problem whatsoever. Enjoyed Salty dog restaurant right in the marina and were able to restock at Harris Teeter a short 15min walk from the docks. The only reason we didn’t give it a 5 stars is because of the enthusiastic currents docking in and out. Otherwise great all around.

It was awesome. The marina was so nice and loved the salty dog as the main restaurant!

Beautiful Marina. Nobody responded on Ch 68 when calling for help docking. Showers and bathroom dirty.

We spent about three weeks at Bohicket Marina on Johns Island aboard our Hunter 38 sailboat, and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. The marina has an exceptional staff who were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. From the moment we arrived and were getting settled into our slip, they made the docking process easy and were always available when we needed assistance. They also helped coordinate shipping and deliveries, which made an extended stay aboard much more convenient. Even our departure was handled smoothly and professionally. One of the things we enjoyed most was the atmosphere at the marina. The nightly live music was a wonderful bonus and made many evenings something to look forward to. After a day on the water, sitting back aboard the boat and listening to live music while watching the sun go down was hard to beat. The sunrises and sunsets over the surrounding waterways were absolutely beautiful and some of the best we have experienced during our cruising. Bohicket Marina also provides a great home base for exploring Johns Island and the surrounding Lowcountry. The combination of a welcoming marina, helpful staff, beautiful scenery, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it an especially enjoyable stop for cruising sailors looking to stay for a few nights or several weeks. After spending three weeks here, we would highly recommend Bohicket Marina to fellow boaters. If you're cruising the Charleston area and looking for a marina where you'll be treated well and actually enjoy spending time at the dock, Bohicket Marina is definitely worth putting on your list.

Large marina with great onsite restaurant, The Salty Dog. Did not use other facilities and did not fuel up. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the Dockmaster, Harrison, stayed after hours to give us a hand with tie-up. Very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent marina with a great staff. The Salty Dog Cafe was great with good food and drinks.

Place feels kind of desolate. The main boardwalk is dilapidated and is sagging badly. No radio contact on arrival. I had a skip assignment prior to arrival so I found my slip. Salty Dog has a decent restaurant and bar but no place for breakfast The fuel dock next morning gets a five star but the overall marina is a three. Maybe with some renovation and different management it will be better soon. I was expecting better.

Quiet marina, a little out dated, but in all the right ways. You must be comfortable docking in strong currents, or time docking to be at slack tide.

Nice marina and good staff. Weak wifi. Salty Dog restaurant on site. Freshfields Village nearby.

Bohicket Marina is first class. The Dockmaster, Harrison, was very accommodating, helped with docking and was very informative of amenities and area restaurants. The water is deep for large vessels too. Very swift current towards low tide. Dave

Pat Murphy (the Marina Manager) and his staff were great! Very helpful with docking in heavy current. BTW, it rips in that area. A lot of the marina shops are closed and the buildings will be renovated. The two marina restaurants are still open. Live entertainment is available. The Village area is about a 1/2 mile walk and still very active.

The staff is great - kind and attentive. We feel like family when we stay here. Only Salty Dog and Fishers onsite, but Freshfields is a nice walk away with grocery, pharmacy, dining and shopping.

This was our first time staying at this marina. A friend had recommended it and it was so lovely! Great dock hands, great on site restaurants, and beautiful area! We will definitely be back!

Fabulous! Super clean and organized. Couple of restaurants on site then a great little shopping area with some great restaurants is about a 10 minute walk. Golf at Kiawah is really close as well.

Very responsive dock master. Came in with a gusty wind and decent fetch. Dock hands put us on an easy dock face to land for the conditions then we moved to our designated spot once winds calmed down. Saftey first is always welcome. Nice hot showers and clean facilities.
