St. Johns Yacht Harbor

Very helpful deckhands! We were placed in a t-dock....rolly until the traffic died down. Didn't use any facilities, but they do have a courtesy car if needed.

Great staff and well maintained dock. We had a great time and met some nice folks. Friendly people. We would have liked to enjoy the pool but too busy boating! Bathrooms nice and clean. Great location for getting out to all the waterways.

Very nice dock masters. Went out of their way to help. Marina should get those guys a golf cart or some kind of transportation. They have to walk that huge property. Nice dock master walked up to the office and brought us ice and it was quite a long way!

Always a great stay at St. Johns! Much quieter than downtown Charleston. I wish that they could get SCDNR to put up no wake zone buoys around the marina area. Seems most boaters don't have a clue that marinas are no wake zones. We got rocked pretty well a few times. It does quiet down after dark however. Thanks for another great stay!

Love this marina. The dockhands are great; many came out to lend a hand and meet us as we docked here ( we have a 86' Burger, so it was nice to have extra hands!). The dock hands are always friendly and love to chat with boaters about anything, and are quick to recommend great spots to grab a bite locally. E runs a tight ship and and is assisted by Daniel. Both make themselves readily available if needed. The laundry room is great - very clean, with 4 washers and dryers. $3 per load per machine (as of 5/1/25), so $6 for a wash and dry per load, if you will. Pool is great; we just used the BBQ grill and fire-it tonight, so there's that as well! What would I add? It would be great to have a restaurant here as well, and we hear that's in the works, so...perfect! Highly recommend this marina...as long as we get first dibs! ;-)

St. Johns Yacht Harbor was an excellent marina, new docks, great restrooms and showers. Beautiful pool. The staff was great!! The only reason I gave them a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating was because of the "boat wakes". We were on a T - head (I dock - transient dock) and the boaters just didn't care and we were constantly being waked. I did talk to the marina and they are trying to extend the no wake zone. Hopefully an updated no wake zone and a little enforcement the "no clue" boat operators will be more courteous and St. Johns Yacht Harbor will be an outstanding 5 star marina!!

Fantastic stop! Super friendly and helpful. Cleanest restrooms… a way to run a marina.

Great experience. I came in during a strong gale. The dockhands were ready and had my sailboat tied and secure in place in less than 5 minutes. Very courteous. Impeccably clean marina. Really appreciated the hospitality and the experience overall and would stay again.

We were seeking a safe harbor from predicted winds and they provided that and more! Really nice dock hands and great docks. We needed to extend our stay one more night and they were very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully at our next visit, we will be able to use the pool!

By far the best marina we have stopped at on our travels. The Dockmaster and the entire staff were accomodating and wonderful to work with. The facilities are second to none. Close proximity to Charleston without all of the hub-bub, we had a relaxing stay and enjoyed touring the area. Highly recommend this wonderful marina with so many amenities!

Once again, we have enjoyed our stay at St. Johns Yacht Harbor. The staff is awesome, the modern bathrooms and showers are cleaned thoroughly every day, and the docks are in great condition. The current here is rather strong, so they recommend coming into a slip at slack tide (unless you are docking on the T-head). They communicate well about this and are very helpful with docking. They also have a courtesy car that is free to use for a couple of hours. The friendly dockhands will bring the pump out boat right to your slip (at no charge) and are willing to help with just about anything you might need. Additionally, they offer monthly rates! Thank you!!!!!

Marina staff is fantastic. Helpful, communicative & know the answers to any questions. They are ready to assist. Only problem was my dock's shore power was 130 volts which caused some tripping issues on my boat. Tried 3 pedestals & all were high
