Wonderful stay at the Maryland YC! The people were really friendly, the pool was lovely, and the food was very good at the restaurant. The salads are huge!
Absolutely the best fireworks display we've ever seen - everywhere you looked there were fireworks on the 4th.

My stay being after the boating season, I had a very pleasant quiet month long stay. The few reservations to my stay was the reduce off season access to the yacht clubs dinning facilities, the steady rolling seas, the aged docks and the regular mosquito population. With all of this being said, I still found myself enjoying the MYC’s residence and I would certainly consider visiting again, possibly in August or September.

Really nice facility and very welcoming yacht club. Wooden fixed docks in good repair. Fuel dock with gas and diesel convenient off of river, right at mouth of Rock Creek. Excellent full bar open on weekends. We stayed at a dock for a Seven Seas Cruising Association weekend, and they could not have been more gracious. Lovely park-like grounds. Not much in the area (residential) but within easy access by Uber or Enterprise rental car.

While after Labor Day there was no one from the marina to check us in so we didn’t get a FOB to use the laundry or showers. Note I was assigned a 60x20 slip and my 18’ wide boat got wedged in the pilings so there must be some shifting in the pilings.Restaurant wasn’t open due to Seven Seas group rendezvous. An onsite restaurant was one of the reasons we chose this marina but alas not available. Would not return, so many other better marinas.

About Maryland Yacht Club
Maryland Yacht Club covers eight acres of beautiful waterfront at the end of Fairview Beach Road in Pasadena MD. It is situated at the entrance to Rock Creek and commands a grand view of the Patapsco River. Maryland Yacht Club has fixed piers, fuel, pump out, bath house, laundry, pool, bar and food service Thursday through Sunday afternoons, and social events open to all boaters - we are much more than a marina! Grocery stores are a short rideshare away and it is 30 minutes to the closest commercial airport (BWI).
