Virginia Marinas
Virginia offers over 3,000 miles of coastline along the many inlets and coves that flow into the Chesapeake Bay. Like Maryland, Virginia holds a great deal of nautical history that dates all the way back to the founding of the United States. The Potomac River leads boaters from the Bay up to Washington DC, with countless views and breathtaking sites to be seen along the way. The Delmarva Peninsula, the most eastern point of the state, also offers beautiful waterways and attracts boaters of all kinds with many fishing ports and harbors. With access to the Atlantic Ocean, the cornucopia that is the Chesapeake Bay, and the many rivers alongside, Virginia is a remarkable location for boaters to explore.
