no bathroom or laundry no pump out and no fuel at the time i was there, the staff were great, and friendly.this marina is more for smaller boats.
Hey, we were open and we had a slip for you to dock at. It is the off-season; we have been updating a lot. Even had a NEW fuel tank installed (that is why we didn't have fuel for a while, had a lot of tests, samples and inspections we had to pass before we could sell fuel.) Plus, we had fuel on order for weeks and we were having a hard time getting it. There are bathrooms 2 porta-potties that get professionally cleaned once a week in the off-season and twice a week in Spring/Summer along with our staff checking them each night to make sure they are clean. For the laundry, I do not know of any Marinas in this area that have laundry on-site, if you would have asked, I could have let you know this. Same with the pump-out if it was a MUST have for you to have a pump-out then you should have asked that before booking. If you use Dockwa or other booking apps you should be able to check things that are must haves for you when you are staying in a slip/Marina. Or maybe call and talk and ask questions before just booking. All I can say is at least we were OPEN, we had somewhere for you to dock and get water & power, and we were NICE!
I hope you read this and take some of what I said as helpful tips and not just us trying to have a comeback, we never advertise that we have laundry or pump-outs. We do normally have fuel but it was time for a new fuel tank, and the off-season is the most reasonable time to replace a fuel tank.

I reserved yard/lot storage for the week. The price wasn't bad with the $175 special, but the experience was very underwhelming to say the least.
The trailer yard was mostly flooded - it did not drain well and was an issue stepping out into 3 inches of standing water.
Free electricity that was offered is not available in the boat yard, only the wet slips - this is obviously not mentioned and posed a significant setback.
The "code" locked gate is a manual dial lock, like for luggage - just heavier duty, and the gate was not electric - you had to roll the gate open yourself.
Lastly, the onsite ramp is VERY narrow and VERY shallow, even on incoming tide and really only suitable for skiffs and pwc's. I would recommend launching down the road at the public ramp, but that takes away from the convenience of this.
Bait shop carried the bare essentials - that's it.
The staff was very pleasant though and the location was very convenient for access to the bay and inlet. I would use them again, but will be looking elsewhere beforehand next time.
2 Stars for nice staff and a very convenient location.
Glad we are OPEN and have awesome staff that shows up to work each day (when many businesses have limited hours or just closed – because of costs, or lack of employees, or limited access to supplies/stock – thanks COVID). We have stayed OPEN and our staff is a great part in that! We value all our customers and we are happy to hear that our staff was pleasant and you found that the location was convenient. Wish that we could control the weather, as rain is the reason there was 3 inches of water in the yard. You are correct about the Free electricity for wet slip, as that rate is $100 per night (that is why “electricity” is FREE for wet slips), it’s not really free it is included within the price for wet slips. We do offer power to Yard Storage customer for an additional fee, if they ask (we have since, added a note on the Dockwa/marinas.com site about electricity for Yard Storage customers, hopefully that helps for next time and for future customers.) As for the Boat Ramp - that is FREE to use for Storage Customers (it is normally $8 per day to launch a boat here.) We have recently launched boats that are 30ft. + at the ramp, we cannot help the change in tide/water level. The Bait Shop is stocked year-round with items that SELL, it is a small building that is shared with the Pontoon/Ski Rentals, the staff and management know what sells and they keep those items stocked the best they can (with shortages & shipping delays that are out of our control!) The “essentials” are what sells, no need to stock or try to sell items that will go bad or that will just sit on the shelf to only sell 1 per year.

It was a great experience! People are friendly and easy access to the water. Come and go as you wish! I would definitely come back!!

The marina and the team on site were very supportive and extremely helpful. The location is phenomenal and the access to water and ramp is very good.
On the area of improvement is the water supply. The supply of water to clean the boat and engines is limited and the pressure is low making very difficult to be able to clean the engines.
Outside of that they place is pretty good.

The boat launch is too small to accommodate large boats. I should have been informed of this. The current is very strong and makes it difficult to launch and place your boat back on the trailer. The launch is short. My trailer tires rolled off the back and damaged my trailer. My boat is 35 feet. This launch may accommodate a boat up to 28 feet but not sure. Mine was definitely to long. Just be aware of the inadequate launch for a larger boat.
The reservation was for Yard Storage(boat on trailer) not a boat slip, customer was here for 10 days and 7 out of the 10 days the Marina was open - not once did the customer call or come up to the Marina to voice about this issue. We do not like to have upset customers, if you would have come to see us we would have been happy to go over other storage options or maybe tried to work with you on fixing the issue you had.

Loved the ease of parking and really liked having a permit to also park our truck while we were on the water. We definitely did not care for the narrow and crooked single boat slip, but the public launch right down the road was fabulous. We’ll use Adventure Marina again next time we bring the boat to Destin for sure.
Thank you for the 4 stars. Glad for the most part you had a nice time keeping the boat here.
As for the Boat Ramp - that is FREE to use for Storage Customers (it is normally $8 per day to launch a boat here.) The Public Launch is very nice I will give you that - glad you found a launch that worked best for you!
See you again next time!

Great Communication while we were driving, gate code slip number etc in case we arrived after hours. Very easy, convenient and safe. The only negative was that they were out of fuel, but Destin marina had fuel so it actually wasn’t that big of a deal.

Had a great stay all week! Only issue was the cleats were missing on the posts in our slip making it a little more inconvenient to tie up on the slip, but overall very good.

Good communication by the marina. No hiccups at all. Thanks and I’ll be back! Boat storage and launch at the same site was very beneficial.

Best marina we have ever had the experience to enjoy! Miss Machelle was AWESOME answered all our questions and gave us a tour, we are from out of state so this really helped. Very secure dry storage area our trailer and jet skis was the same as when we left them. The guys on the dock are amazing as well!! Helped me up on the dock and held and watched my ski while i went to get my truck to load them!! A+++ will deff use adventure marina again!!

When someone rents a wet slip make sure and ask if a BIG fishing boat will be by side you !!! We had fish guts & fish scales all on the seats , side of the boat and on the carpet of our pontoon boat !
Everyone that works at the little fish & tackle shop is super nice and helpful !
The wet slips are very close to the parking area so it was easy to pack everything to the boat daily.
I would use Adventure Marina again but will ask more questions as to who will be by me !
Just so you and our future guests know that the "BIG fishing boat" is no longer at Adventure Marina.

There is no security or even a fence to keep people away from your boat. Two of the five days I wanted to use the water it was not working; I was told the pump was not working. I was told by the full-time boaters adjacent to me this was common. and that when it does work, there is inadequate water pressure. Also, there was no way to plug into the electricity without a special adapter and there was no option but to pay $41.00 to purchase the adapter, no rental, no loan with deposit, no 120 15-amp receptacle. Pay $41.00+ for the adapter. Finally, the dock is about 15-feet long so you are not going to be able to access anything but one end of your boat but not get access to the entire boat as it is docked. I'll use the facility again as it is very convenient to where I stay in Fort Walton Beach but if there was an alternative, I would use it instead.
Hello, The security we do have 24-hour video surveillance, but you are correct about the gate. There is only a gate to get into the Yard Storage area. The water pump is having to be replaced. We did, however, get the water switched over to a different water service within 24 hours of being notified of an issue. We are on the schedule to have someone come work on or replace the pump for the water. If you would have called the storage number or sent us a message on Dockwa where you made your reservation about the water we might have been able to fix it to where you could have used it. But when I found out about it around 4 pm (had someone stop and get parts that night) the next morning it was still not working so we did what we could to try to fix it. Wasn't kicking on, so we switched it to the other water. Also the power, we do not advertise that we have 15amp service. We offer 30 and 50 amp (shore power), we do however sell the adaptors for our customers (which the same adapter is sold at West Marine for almost $65+tax).
