Herrington Harbour North

Second time at this excellent facility. Friendly staff. Large campus. Nice restaurant on site. Quieter than the sister campus. We took advantage of the loaner bicycles to go to the local sushi place which was great! There are other local restaurants to try, either by dinghy or bicycle.

Update: 2026. The marina is fabulous. As always, we had a great experience. Grounds are stunningly beautiful and everything is so clean. Staff is friendly and so are the Slipholders. Very dog friendly also. We love coming here. 2024:Our first time here at Herrington North after many visits to the south marina. We absolutely loved it. Beautiful landscaping, long paver path through the marina and gardens, lots of delightful seating areas throughout including chair swings, fire pits, rattan sectionals. Our three little dogs loved the fenced in dog park and all the green space. The pool is great. Sparkling, modern bathrooms, nicest we have ever seen at a marina. We used the small but well equipped fitness center. They have bikes but we bring our own and I could ride into the town of Deale which was close. There is a great seafood restaurant onsite we ate at one night and even a West Marine! How great is that. Lastly, we discovered a quaint little historic village on the grounds with several restored old buildings and a nice lady from the local historic society who gives tours only on Sundays. We were happy to get a slip on short notice and they gave us very clear directions where the slip was in the marina and the dockhands helped us in expertly. The whole experience was just about the best we have had in many years and we hope to come back soon. If we lived on the western side of the bay, we would make this our home marina. Update: Came back in 2025 and the marina is every bit as great as last year! Clean, beautiful, lots of amenities, super friendly and helpful staff. We recommended to friends from our marina and they loved it also. Great job, guys! We love HHN!

Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough good things about this marina! We've been to a lot of marinas but this one ranks at the very top of the list. Very resort-like and peaceful. Gorgeous setting, beautiful landscaping and floura and fauna (yes, we noticed!), soooo dog friendly...!! We didn't check out the pool but we will stay longer next time. Great Stay! The staff was nice, great facilities, clean restrooms, convenient restaurant, nice walking and lounging areas. Nice pool area. Dumpsters were convenient. We appreciate a place to recycle paper, plastic, oil, antifreeze, etc. Another feature that's nice are the "free bins". We had some parts we didn't need and now they have a shot to find a new home!

The dockhands are very competent at tieing up. And the grounds are beautifully kept with very nice facilities. The our meals at the on-site restaurant were very good. We'll be back!

Great docks and customer service. Accommodated all of our requests! Waited out some weather and had our new house batteries delivered. Good local restaurant.

This really is a resort marina. It seems only slightly behind Herrington Harbor south in being the best marina I have ever visited. Enjoyed my stay. I had a problem with my gear shift when I arrived and they handled getting me into my slip and send a workman to fix my boat even at 5pm on a Friday night. Way above and beyond what I could expect from a marina.

Update-10/11/25 - We visited Herrington North again. Same great service! Megan was extremely helpful in fixing the reservation that I messed up and finding us a place to dock! Thanks! Great Marina! The grounds were excellent, and the number of repair trades on site was amazing! Fortunately, we didn't need them, but we did visit the descent-sized West Marina on the premises. The staff was great and worked with us to get in, I think that this is one of the first marinas that we went on a wait list and actually got a callback! We highly recommend a visit!

We always enjoy a stop at Herrington Harbour North. Dock hands were friendly and super helpful. The park-like setting of the grounds are so relaxing!
