10 July 2025. Docks are in new condition. Dockhands are there to help with lines and give a very exhaustive welcome speech. Excellent facilities.
Marina Response:
Thanks Robert! We appreciate you stopping by our little marina!

Poor communication. Difficult to get to get hold of someone on the advertised phone number but this one +1 (360) 472-4866 was found through the nearby hotel answering message (hotel under renovation). Pure happenchance. And approaching the marina, calls on Channel 78 went unanswered. Good luck.
Marina Response:
You did not even come here you ding bat. Your not a customer. Try making a reservation....Try Google for a phone number genius. The hotel is not part of our business. Happenstance maybe not happen chance. Good luck to you too.

Great stay over July 4th weekend. Harbor grill is open and OI car rentals will drop off and pickup. Very easy.

Thanks for coming!

I have been coming to Rosario for 25 years, always been a wonderful experience. I am concerned about the new ownership and the viability of the place as a "destination" for boaters. The place just seems to miss the mark compared to years past and other destinations. The restaurant grill is open only limited days a week, the great store that was there is now subsumed within the restaurant and now there is a tiny, kinda lame, gisftshop with almost no stock. There is no longer WiFi. Of course, the entire mansion facility is closed, with an undisclosed opening date. And, the worst part, we stayed for $130/night and wanted to stay a second, the cost $190 for the second night because it was July 1st. I felt that cost was outrageous given the limited offerings. Positive is that the dock staff was fantastic, and the grounds, nice, although not kept up like it used to be. I honestly think my tradition staying here is over, will seek other locations like Deer Harbor given the very high cost.

Great place to stay. Plenty of activities to keep busy. The restaurant/bar had a very good burger and fish/chips. Pump out not working though.

Not the experience it used to be. Marina is now separate from the mansion (still closed) but the beachside cafe was open and ok - no more store/coffee available. About half the marina appears to be long-term tenants. Pools was open and reportedly heated.

It's been years since I had been at Rosario marina. The staff was nice when talking with them on the phone. When arriving it was a bit of a cluster. We had arrived just shortly after 1:00 and there was no one that could help direct us to where we could dock even though we had reservations. Being a larger boat than the average in the marina (63') it would have been nice to of had better communication where we could dock. As the Marina matures it would be nice to have a better diagram of the slips or advance slip assignments. The website has a diagram but it takes a bit to find it. Found the marina facilities in good shape, however the grass was cut, but very rough. While the mansion is not part of this marina any longer it still has a very enchanting draw to it, esp. from a distance. Of coarse the view from the marina is a million dollar view looking down Eastsound. We enjoyed the more casual atmosphere than the larger marinas on the west end of the islands offer. At least for our stay the other boaters were more friendly and even had a community bonfire that night and s'mores. I look forward to visiting again next year and wish this group the best of luck fine tuning the marina operations.

We’ve loved the peaceful setting and beautiful views at Rosario Marina, and have been coming here for years. Sadly, it’s no longer a place we can recommend. Marina fees are among the highest in the area (plus 25% cancellation fees), but amenities have declined—bathrooms are in poor condition, there’s no lighting near the grassy area at night, and upkeep around the marina owned grounds has clearly slipped. Trash services are no longer provided for boaters or dog owners (poop bags piling up under signs!), and there’s no place to grab coffee or breakfast anymore. While the restaurant has improved greatly (and we absolutely recommend it!), we were told by staff the new marina’s focus is on long-term moorage rather than seasonal boaters. We’re grateful for the kind staff who welcomed us on arrival, but overall, we’re disappointed and won’t be returning.
Marina Response:
We do have a great and friendly staff. Thanks for noticing. The lawn is perfectly mowed and the restrooms are cleaned daily. We have an heated outdoor pool, lawn games and BBQs. In addition we have a restaurant that serves lunch and diner and a laundry facility. We do have a great and friendly staff. You seem maybe too old and cantankerous for boating. We accept trach in small amount for free at the office. Our Reservation Policy is 24 hours. Our moorage Rates are 3 dollars per foot. All of these things are very common. Half of our marina is long term and half transient moorage. We are not the same business as the Mansion.

Rosario Harbor has a way of pulling you in, whether you’re just passing through or sticking around for a bit.The marina’s well-kept, the staff is great, the views are unreal, you might spot some whales, and the whole place just has a grounded vibe that’s hard to beat. The Grill is a pleasant surprise, way above your typical marina fare, and a lot of fun. As for the occasional complaints you might read elsewhere… hard to say. Maybe some folks showed up on the wrong tide, or just didn’t take a deep enough breath.

Things are starting to open again at Rosario. Very pretty grounds and the harbor employees are friendly.
Marina Response:
Thanks so much for for coming Pete! We have been putting lots of hard work getting things opened up again!

It's hard to be unbiased since I was a frequent visitor under the old management. Some things I noticed with the new owners that may be small but are annoying are 1. $10 fee to dispose of garbage 2. $10 fee for power. The mansion isn't open either but there is no discount for the limited amenities. It's still an awesome place to visit, though.
Marina Response:
The Mansion is not part of our business. The Marina is separate from the Resort at the Mansion. It is under renovation. All our amenities are open. Showers, Restrooms, laundry room, and Great new Resturant, and our outdoor pool. We are happy to take small bags of garbage for free. The 10$ self service charge is intended to give boaters 24 hour access to garbage. We have had problems with people dumping g large amounts of garbage so unfortunately this is necessary. We are proud of our amenities and feel they surpass the amenities available at most of the marinas in the San Juan's. We also have company's on store offering, bike, kayak, and moped rentals, rental cars and fishing charters. These things are an extra fee. Thanks for coming.

We love everything this year. The restaurant had delicious food fresh seafood and delicious well crafted cocktails. The docks have been updated, bathrooms and showers have been refreshed with new tile. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The yurts and new camping look fun and family friendly with new picnic tables. Can’t wait to come back!

Picturesque harbor and friendly staff.

Hayden was amazing. Very helpful. The few adminities they had were clean and tidy. Pool is closed indefinitely due to permitting. So the price is pretty expensive for what it was.

Loved it and Roche Harbour too😊

Best docks and dock-side services around. The greater amenities need work...store has very eclectic selection, restaurant needs to reopen...to justify the fairly high $/foot moorage cost.

Marina is great. Terry met us on arrival and gave helpful briefing and update on resort status. Showers are better but need hooks and niche for soap and shampoo. Cascade Bay was open but menu was very limited. Service delightful however. We love Rosario and really hope it gets the investment it still needs.

Great facilities, great layout. We're looking forward to the resort renovation to be complete, and have access to the pools on property!

Nice and peaceful. The grill was open and the employees were very nice. The marina showers were free and the water stayed warm. Looking forward to returning when the mansion reopens and they have more services and dining options.
