Safe Harbor Capri

Very nice staff at the gas dock. A little slow to respond to messages but overall very good. Love the restaurant just outside the gates and the bikes available to get around.

We have stayed at this marina before and we like the location, the docks and the staff is generally good, approachable and friendly. Unfortunately, management isn't giving them the resources they need especially on a holiday weekend. They ran out of ice on Friday the 3rd. While they have three grills in the pool area they only had one LP tank. It was in use and we had to wait till the person ahead of us was done cooking. The grill didn't get over 250-300 degrees and then it started to die. We ended up cooking our food on our boat. I think they should invest in natural gas grills and run a connection right out of Butler's Flats kitchen. This way all three grills can be used at the same time and the dock hands wouldnt have to deal with grill issues or complaints. Some simple changes by management can make this 2 star rating go up to a 5 star rating.

Rob, the Dockmaster, who does a fantastic job ensuring every visit is seamless and enjoyable, supported by an enthusiastic and capable team of deckhands. From the moment we arrived, the team was welcoming, attentive, and proactive. The marina is beautifully maintained, featuring modern facilities and stunning views of Manhasset Bay. The floating docks are in excellent condition, making docking effortless and stress-free. We also enjoyed a wonderful meal at the waterfront restaurant—delicious food paired with excellent service. The pool area provided a perfect place to unwind and cool off after a day on the water. A standout aspect of our stay was the consistently exceptional service. The marina team was always available, knowledgeable, and eager to assist, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The location is also ideal, offering convenient access to nearby restaurants, amenities and attractions. Overall, Safe Harbor Capri continues to exceed our expectations in every way. We look forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a top‑tier marina experience.

Great docks helpful staff and great location

Nicely maintained marina as expected from a Safe Harbor. Friendly and helpful. However it would be helpful that they can provide you with you slip assignment in advance so we can prepare our boat in case of bad weather well in advance to being at the marina.
