The dockmaster was very friendly. But it was just a floating dock out in the harbor with no facilities.
Note: My Verizon cell service was very sketchy. It would be better if the wifi which seemed to have a strong signal had a login.

There are no services, no rest rooms, no water, and the floating dock is anchored out in the Harbor. So, you need a dinghy to get ashore.

A wonderful working harbor. Thurston’s was close for seafood. Dock was well protected, neat, and clean. Be prepared lobstermen go to work early.

This was an excellent spot to keep our center console for a few days. Justin was so helpful. The views from the marina are among the most beautiful on the island, and it was remarkable to see the Bass Harbor lighthouse from the water after only seeing it from land. The lighthouse is moments away from the harbor.

We stayed on the town floats for 3 nights waiting for weather to clear and found that the harbor was a great place to be. Thurston's Lobster Pound is a short dinghy ride away and the food is great. Justin, the Harbor Master, is very friendly and helpfull. He dove on my boat and pulled off a large jelly fish that had attached itself to the strainer for the raw water intake to the genset. I highly recommend stopping here to experience the sights and sounds of a real fishing port.

This is not a dock, it’s a float. Guess that explains the price. No real facilities and no staff. Not bad for what it is but the description in Dockwa should be updated.
