We have been cruising into Deer Hbr marina off and on for 17 years now. The marina's beautiful setting, friendly service & easy local access to 2 excellent restaurants never ceases to amaze us. Deer Hbr's docks are in better shape than ever, as is their dockside power and water. We just had a great weekend there with our yacht club, thanks to their excellent service.

Everyone was so friendly at Deer Harbor Marina. Jamie was super helpful and gave us a hand docking our boat. We love having the marina store and enjoyed a nice lunch. Island Pie a pizza place is right across the street. We will be back.

The Harbormaster was friendly and welcoming and the dock hands were the same. Everyone was very accommodating and made the stay so pleasant. The marina is very nice and the location is lovely. Highly recommend anyone passing through to stay and enjoy this beautiful place.

Mark and the staff are GREAT!! Thought we would stay overnight but ended up here 4. It had been over 10 years since we have been here and so glad we came back. Again Mark the Harbormaster is a great guy and runs a welcoming place for all.

Beautiful small harbor and marina. Good slip facilities. The staff were friendly and made my wife and me feel very welcome. Did not eat at Island Pie (pizza place) was told by several other boaters that it was very good. We did eat at Matthew’s Smokehouse, just a short walk down the road. Excellent brisket and local beer and wine. They also have a full bar. This will be one of our “come back to” places!

The marina is in a lovely area with well maintained, clean facilities and access to the pool of the local resort for marina guests. Restaurants are available nearby, but not a grocery store. Free pump out at the fuel dock 24/7.

About Deer Harbor Marina

Located on the southwest side of beautiful Orcas Island, in Washington State, the marina has long been a destination and way point for boaters and travelers of the Pacific Northwest.

As those who have spent time at Deer Harbor would attest, this beautiful marina centrally located in the San Juan Islands is an ideal destination or summer cruising base for the islands as well as a quiet winter getaway. Open year round, the marina offers reduced rates during the winter season.

Families enjoy beach combing and playing on one of the best beaches in the San Juan Islands. We also have a fantastic pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool is located across the street and heated. Hotel accommodations and dining are located nearby. Transportation around the island is offered by taxi or shuttle bus to other Orcas Island attractions. Kenmore Air has float plane service from Seattle/Lake Union to the marina. Ferry service is available from Anacortes to Orcas Island, and island hopping is easy to other San Juan Island locations.

Deer Harbor has modern dock facilities with side ties up to 112’, a full service grocery store and restaurant; including beer and wine sales, as well as a convenient fuel dock and pump-out facilities.
