Probably one of the best stops in the San juans. Staff friendly and helpful. The dock store is stocked with all the essentials, pump out, fuel and pool access across the street at the resort for Marina guests. Very good pizza across the street. The marina showers and restrooms very clean.

Deer Harbor was absolutely wonderful, and their dock staff were extremely helpful and friendly, during both arrival and departure. The marina is extremely clean, with very nice laundry and shower facilities if needed. The pool at the resort across the street is very nice and clean, and a fabulous pizza place next door. Looking forward to our next visit.

Loved our brief 1 night stay at Deer Harbor July 2, after a wet sail from Bellingham on our way to July 4th Festivities at Roche Harbor. Deer Harbor staff were so very welcoming, helped us pull in & depart, etc.. The summer youth staff are super at fuel dock AND the best servers & hosts at the Pizza Restaurant ....which, BTW has terrific pizzas, salads & homemade egg rolls. I highly recommend.

We come to the San Juan's often and always try staying at Deer Harbor as it is a beautiful harbor that offers everything we need. The staff is friendly, the local food is great, the docks are clean and the area is nice for a good walk.

If you want a beautiful, peaceful place to dock and relax, Deer Harbor Marina is a wonderful place for that. Aside from the float planes coming and going which I think are fun to watch, it's very quiet. The staff was terrific and a special thank you to Kate and to Jamie H. Super helpful and kind!

Very nice. Bathrooms/showers were clean and nice. The showers run on tokens though and apparently sold at the marina store which was closed when we arrived. It would be nice to have some sort of vending machine. We ended up buying some from a live aboard captain. All and all wonderful place though.

About Deer Harbor Marina

Located on the southwest side of beautiful Orcas Island, in Washington State, the marina has long been a destination and way point for boaters and travelers of the Pacific Northwest.

As those who have spent time at Deer Harbor would attest, this beautiful marina centrally located in the San Juan Islands is an ideal destination or summer cruising base for the islands as well as a quiet winter getaway. Open year round, the marina offers reduced rates during the winter season.

Families enjoy beach combing and playing on one of the best beaches in the San Juan Islands. We also have a fantastic pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool is located across the street and heated. Hotel accommodations and dining are located nearby. Transportation around the island is offered by taxi or shuttle bus to other Orcas Island attractions. Kenmore Air has float plane service from Seattle/Lake Union to the marina. Ferry service is available from Anacortes to Orcas Island, and island hopping is easy to other San Juan Island locations.

Deer Harbor has modern dock facilities with side ties up to 112’, a full service grocery store and restaurant; including beer and wine sales, as well as a convenient fuel dock and pump-out facilities.
