Great spot in a very nice part of Huntington Harbor. Friendly staff on the launch and the fuel dock. We were there late in the season, they had a good spot for us. The moorings are a little close together, but we fit OK if we tightened up very close to the ball. The launch was willing to take us into town instead of the club, which was great for shopping trips.

This is a place to make memories. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel like family. They are all hardworking and bright individuals who are happy to see you! It’s a place you can come with your love or with a family and have an amazing weekend or week long trip! The pool is clean and beautiful. The Resturant has great cocktails and delicious steak! This is my 8th year coming to this gem!

In my opinion, the best Yacht Club and facility in Long Island. Have visited HYC many times, and the facility continues to maintain high standards. Dock master is the best. Very accommodating.

Very friendly and helpful dock master and dock staff. Really went out of their way on the start of a busy holiday weekend, to be sure everyone was well taken care of. On VHF gave very clear, easy to follow directions to the guest moorings.

Dock hands were very helpful. Club is beautiful and clean. Tried to get wristbands for the pool but couldn’t find anyone in the office to assist, but no big deal. People are very friendly. Would definitely go back again.

It's a really secure, friendly place. We left our boat here whilst we took a trip to NYC & were very comfortable that nothing would happen to it here. The team are all very friendly & professional, good showers, launch included - even to town. Otto & Kevin even gave us a lift to the grocery store & picked me up once finished (were a transit yacht from the UK so don't have a vehicle). It was soo good we extended our stay on the mooring.

I didn't use the mooring because we decided to avoid the weather and drive. However, the people and the members are great. We hope to beonshore at the HYC soon when the weather accommodates a visit.

The ,mooring was difficult to find. It was all the way in the channel on Port side, after the club house. The launch operator radio was not working well enough to guide us. All operators were very courteous. The use of the swimming pool was a BLESSING!

My husband I have travelled the sound for 20 years. Huntington is our favorite spot due to a number of reasons, however, the biggest credit goes to Otto and his crew. By far, the dock staff at Huntington is the best we've ever encountered in our travels as far as Nantucket. The staff is knowledgeable, polite and welcoming. Thanks Otto, you make coming to HYC a joy.

The listing should have mentioned - additional fee for use of the pool ($20/pp) and required attire for the dining room. ( men;Jacket and pants). We would not have stayed here as we weren’t paying $40 for a quick swim, and out to sea my husband didn’t have long pants and a jacket so we couldn’t have dinner.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. While formal attire is required for the main dining room, casual dining is offered in the yacht club's bar area or Regatta room. We will keep note of your concerns regarding the pool fees, though these charges are not regulated through the dockmaster.

We could not have felt more welcome by all of the staff here at the yacht club. Otto, Kevin, and Logan were a tremendous help throughout our stay ensuring we had everything we needed. Kevin was always available and made everything seamless. Logan was very accommodating on the launch. Taylor behind the snack bar at the pool could not have been more welcoming and sweet. They made our stay very pleasant!! Highly recommend and cannot wait to stay here again in the future.

Wife and I had last minute opportunity to get away for the night on a beautiful day. We were able to connect with HYC dockmaster and with the reciprocity from our club in Connecticut able to get a transient for the night. Marina and facilities and staff were absolutely wonderful, pool is great and short Uber ride into town. Unfortunately restaurant and bar at marina only open Thursday through Sunday right now but no problem I look forward to coming back

This is our second visit for the season! Launch folks are excellent. Even offers a lanch to the village doc where a couple of restaurants, stores , supermarket (about a 15 mins walk away) the Doc Master Otto, Luis, Nick, Ryan, Thom and all the other...are helpful, and polite. Great operation over all!!

Great spot! Pool, restaurant, diesel, and a mooring with a view. Launch drivers are young entertaining kids who know how to handle a launch boat! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will definetly be back.

Highly recommended, but you must stay there on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday when the club is open for dinners. unfortunately, we were not there on those days. The club is great, the pool is fantastic, and the dock/moorage assistance was superb. The launch will deliver you to the town dock, when requested, no complaints and pick you up. The town itself leaves a lot to be desired. Great Italian deli for meats, cheeses and pastas. Forget the town, go to the club when it is open!! We had a great time, thanks. Nighthawk

The staff is very helpful and the facilities are updated and modern. Our only complaint is that the boat next to our assigned slip had a loud late night party. It appeared that this was a member of HYC. It wasn’t what we bargained for. HYC should have some code of conduct to control this type of activity, imho.

HYC is the best. Dock Staff is extremely helpful. Launch Service is the best, Everyone is nice here, and they all help each other working to make it a smooth operation. Dinner was great in the HYC restaurant, they’re not open every night so call to assure they are, enjoy it if they are ! Otherwise use Launch or Uber to town to many restaurants especially uptown there’s a ton of places to eat. We Love it here ! Thanks to the Staff !

Stayed at this marina many times. Great docks. Dock personnel are awesome. Free water shuttle to the town docks. Pool, restaurant. Grab a seat and watch the endless parade of boats going by.

Top of the line. Lovely facility, well maintained, in secure harbor, with friendly attentive staff. Two disappointments: The dining room is available only for takeout; the launch stops at 6:00 pm (at least when we were there), which is tough since it’s a long walk to town. And, the channel needs maintenance. But, highly recommended.

This yacht club is in a beautiful bay. The marina staff are helpful and accommodating. They offer free tender service to town, which is very nice for dinner or provisions.

Great yacht club in a pretty harbor, the staff was top notch and very helpful. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed to transients still. This should be noted when we one is making a reservation.

Channel is well-marked and easier than it looks on chart. Mooring was right off channel, easy to locate. Did not use shore facilities, but they look top-notch.

The staff at the HYC was outstanding. Their assistance in locating the mooring, obtaining ice, the snack bar attendant, the office staff to answer questions, etc. was excellent. They were very professional and welcoming. I met a club member and that person was just as friendly and engaging. The board should be very proud. I look forward to our next visit. This marina offers a full range of services for transients. The dock staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a tender that can take you into town if you don't want to walk. Our stay was short, but sweet!

We can proudly say we are continuing an over 125-year tradition of excellence in boating, social, and community goals. The Huntington Yacht Club is one of the only yacht clubs on Long Island Sound for those boaters who prefer the club experience with the convenience of a dock.

The marina is a state-of-the-art 100 slip installation with power, cable TV, Wi-Fi and water connections at every dock. A field of 60 moorings is nestled around the docks, with fast launch service. Furthermore, we offer 20 cents off per gallon of fuel to transients staying with us.

The Club offers a variety of memberships including Full Boating, Pool, Restaurant and Business.
