Close to town, essentially in town. You've got to try the Copenhagen Bakery.
Price for a mooring is very reasonable. Launch staff is friendly and prompt.

Wonderful time as always. The water taxi service makes the experience care free. This is one of our favorite summer destinations to spend the day. Thank you, Seymour’s!

A credit that had been promised was not honored. Then, when we arrived the staff appeared poorly trained and did not communicate well on the VHF to us or to other boats seeking their reserved moorings. The tender were pleasant but very slow to respond, up to 30 minutes after a pick-up request had been radioed in. When asked to have the Seymour tender take us and pick us up from a dinner reservation st CYC, the tender operator responded that should might be able to do so if not busy. When I said I needed a firm answer so we did not get stranded her reply was, "in that case, it is a no".
They should also alert all guests that ALL of the mooring in the harbor have their name on them even if other organizations are renting them out. This was not told to us and when Seymour's said we could pick up any mooring, we did but it was not one that they rented so we had to move.
All in all, very poor organization that resulted in poor customer service.

Moorings are serviced yearly. Excellent distance between Boats. Brian was fabulous shuttle driver, and they are very responsive to pick ups at any time.

Seymour’s Boat yard has provided me with a home away from home. From their properly maintained moorings, to their amazing launch Captains who monitor Channel 68. They will pick you up either from a seasonal or daily rental mooring to their dock, literally, steps away from the quaint Village of Northport. In town there are numerous restaurants, the best bakery and shops. Need fuel? They provide both diesel and gas. Have a pup? They are adjacent to one of the nicest dog friendly parks on Long Island. All that, plus one of the most beautiful Harbors on the North Shore of Long Island.

Pretty mooring, nice launch personal.
We will be back!
Unfortunately the launch hours are limited at this time of the year so it is hard to go for dinner and get back to the boat.

Came in for fuel and fresh water and ended up taking a mooring ball with them for the night. Help on the fuel dock was a bit lax but I think there was a changeover of staff at the time. Launch service was timely. Pumpout boat only operates on Saturday and Sunday.

About Seymour's Boatyard
Seymour’s rental moorings continue to be the safest in the harbor. Each year moorings are pulled, inspected and upgraded. We use New England Rope’s premium 3-strand nylon line & will never reuse lines from a previous season. All moorings come equipped with a new bridle & chafe gear; one pennant line and one safety line. All moorings come with a 4 ½ foot pick up stick and additional options are available if needed.
Transient Moorings available daily & weekly.
We set moorings in Northport Harbor, Centerport Harbor, Eaton's Neck, Sand City, Duck Island Harbor, Asharoken, Northport Yacht Club and Centerport Yacht Club.
All moorings serviced by Seymour’s exceed standards set by Northport Harbor Advisory Board as well as Northport and Centerport Yacht Clubs.
