The stay was fantastic from start to finish because of Terry, Courtney, Sean and all the Strong’s staff. They went above and beyond for our group, it’s what separated them from any other marina we stay at.

We’ve been coming here every Labor Day weekend for the last nine years! The staff is great, the Marina is clean.

This was our second stay at Strongs. We love it. It is truly a marina resort. The staff is outstanding. From the office staff to the dock hands. The docks are in excellent shape. Power towers excellent. Be sure if you plan to go in and out, as we do, that you let them know so you are in a slip that allows for it since some are not easy to get in and out of with how the boats are positioned. We were on C dock and it was perfect.
One note, raising them on the radio upon approach is tricky. Apparently there is no reception until you get into the basin looking into the marina. Our last trip there we were unaware of it and were concerned. Definitely start calling on channel 9 when you get to that area. This time we couldn’t raise anyone on channel 9 so had to use our cell to call the office. I thought it was my radio but another boater responded to me. Still not a big issue. The office told us which slip and the dock hands were there.
The store sells clothing, ice, drinks, and some other things. One thing I want to thank the team for was an issue with one of my power cables. We had storms one of the 5 days and it burned out one of the cables. Thankfully the office had cables and my problem was solved.
The grounds are spectacular. Park like with fire pits, Adirondack chairs, and some lawn games. There is an amazing pool with poolside bar and food service. The restaurant the Windamere is also very good. And there is entertainment on the lawn Wednesday to Sunday evening.
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation for a stay. We will be back there in 4 weeks.

Beautiful place, but if you are in a sailboat, it is a tough one to get in/out of. Pay attention to tides - we probably dragged the keel a bit departing. Be forewarned - they would like you to back into the slip. If you do not feel comfortable doing such, be prepared to argue for a bow in tie, which we needed.

Regarding docking, our policy is to always give the captain the choice of how they would like to position their boat in the slip. In this case, it appears that incorrect information was communicated to you by our office regarding backing into the slip, and we sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding. That was not the experience we intended for you to have.

I requested an outside slip on the face dock to get our dingy off which was not submitted to Strong’s by Dockwa. They gave us an inside slip and then squeezed a sailboat in that hit us and did damage and could not get our dingy off. Very disappointing! Not sure if we will return!

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. We did review the reservation, and unfortunately, there was no request noted for an outside slip on the face dock. We always do our best to accommodate specific slip requests when they are included with the reservation and based on availability.
We’re also sorry to hear about the incident involving the sailboat and any damage that occurred. We understand how frustrating that must have been, especially when you were unable to get your dinghy off as planned.

Another excellent stay at Strong's. Bathroom/Shower facilities are excellent. Pool and tiki-bar are also excellent. Courtney and Terri along with all the the dock staff are wonderfult to deal with. Really enjoyed our stay.

Never Disappointed at Strong's!
We came in for a couple of days to enjoy their beautiful pool aboard our Silverton Motor Yacht. Booked the slip through DockWa and got a perfect spot on the gas dock Tee. The dockhands were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient upon arrival.
The grounds looked great and the pool was spectacular. I also have to give a shoutout to the lifeguard on duty — he jumped into action when an elderly man was struggling in the deep end. Really impressed by how quickly and calmly he responded.
I also ran into a minor issue with my boat when we arrived: the starting battery bank (three batteries) was completely dead. Not bad for 8 years on a set of lead-acid batteries! The service manager, Jay, was excellent — he ordered three new batteries from Lighthouse Marine and had them installed the same day. He and the service team did a great job, and the pricing was fair for the level of service we received.
We always look forward to our visits at Strong's. Thanks for everything!

Always a great place to go for a weekend or longer. Great staff, impeccable grounds, and the best pool. It’s like going away to a 5-star resort only an hour and a half away.

Grounds, pool, restaurant, bar, band/live music all make this 5+. On the flip side, bathrooms can use cleaning a little more often and trash cans pile up and need emptying more frequently.

Reservation Policy: To confirm your stay at Strong’s Water Club, all reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. Please note our minimum stay requirements during peak season:
• Weekends in July & August require a 2-night minimum stay.
• Holiday weekends—including July 4th and Labor Day—require a 3-night minimum stay.
