Simply the best marina and Host's in the Desolation Sound/Georgia Straight area.. It is our "Go To" place to go and find a little piece of heaven in God's Country. If only the other "Wanna B's could understand what great socks and even better service means to the travelling Mariner.

Oh my! What a beautiful place in the most beautiful setting! The managers, Nahanni and Paul, and the staff member Olivia, were welcoming and friendly and helpful. They made us feel as though we were special guests! We loved that they had a trail map and a basket of air horns, bear spray and insect repellent to equip us for hiking. The communal gathering shelter is like an outdoor living room with beautiful furnishings, including fire tables, comfy couches, and lovely dining tables. Free water, ice, shower, and friendship - who does that??? Toba Wilderness Marina!

By leaps and bounds, this was the best marina stay we’ve ever experienced. Nahanni, Paul and Ethan were so welcoming and the place is immaculate. The views were stunning (snow capped mountains and waterfalls), the birds were abundant and we got to see a bear when cruising up Toba Inlet. The cherry on the top was salmon fishing was excellent just minutes from the dock.

Beyond our expectations. We will definitely be returning.

An exceptionally beautiful, well-maintained, and high-quality marina in the most spectacular location in Desolation Sound. I have the privilege of staying here multiple times each season, and it is always a pleasure. Paul and Nahanni are outstanding! Their warm hospitality, fun attitude, exceptional generosity, hard work, and helpfulness make me look forward to every visit. This marina is a hidden gem, and its breathtaking views will make you choose to stay an extra night. Thank you and keep up the fantastic work!

We just began boating in 2024 and had our first trip to Desolation Sound along with a visit Toba Wilderness Marina, the bar has been set really high. Paul and Nahanni are wonderful hosts and the facilities are top notch. I highly recommend hiking up to the waterfall.

Sandpiper II : An unplanned mooring at the fringe of Desolation Sound. We were off to Walsh Provincial Park when we saw Toba Wilderness and remoteness of having a marina in the middle of nowhere spoke to us. . What a beautiful and serene location. We stayed an extra nite to enjoy the peacefulness and splendour of the landscape. Paul and Nahanni, the hosts of the marina are warm and hospitable. Helped us with docking, positioned us and all their guests to have the best views possible. Lovely people. Best docks and water quality, bar none...and spotless washrooms. We will return again.

Great new Marina with fabulous hosts and the only things missing are a general store and fuel but too remote to expect that. Came in for a night and stayed three. Great area for folks traveling with dogs.

5 + star rating. The setting was spectacular, excellent docks, facilities were great, and the customer service was unbelievable. I can't say enough about how wonderful this marina was. Paul and Nallanni were welcoming and helpful as dock hands and tour guides - friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Excellent, private, clean bathrooms and showers, lovely gathering area with firepits. I would recommend this Marina to anyone and we hope to return! Thank you to our hosts!
