We just began boating in 2024 and had our first trip to Desolation Sound along with a visit Toba Wilderness Marina, the bar has been set really high. Paul and Nahanni are wonderful hosts and the facilities are top notch. I highly recommend hiking up to the waterfall.

Sandpiper II : An unplanned mooring at the fringe of Desolation Sound. We were off to Walsh Provincial Park when we saw Toba Wilderness and remoteness of having a marina in the middle of nowhere spoke to us. . What a beautiful and serene location. We stayed an extra nite to enjoy the peacefulness and splendour of the landscape. Paul and Nahanni, the hosts of the marina are warm and hospitable. Helped us with docking, positioned us and all their guests to have the best views possible. Lovely people. Best docks and water quality, bar none...and spotless washrooms. We will return again.

Great new Marina with fabulous hosts and the only things missing are a general store and fuel but too remote to expect that. Came in for a night and stayed three. Great area for folks traveling with dogs.

5 + star rating. The setting was spectacular, excellent docks, facilities were great, and the customer service was unbelievable. I can't say enough about how wonderful this marina was. Paul and Nallanni were welcoming and helpful as dock hands and tour guides - friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Excellent, private, clean bathrooms and showers, lovely gathering area with firepits. I would recommend this Marina to anyone and we hope to return! Thank you to our hosts!

This was our first season visiting Toba Wilderness, and it certainly won’t be our last. Despite boating these waters for decades, we had never made the stop until now. This year, we were fortunate to experience the professionalism and warmth of Paul and Nahanni, the caretakers of this stunning property. The breathtaking grounds and vistas are remarkable, but it’s their hospitality that truly stands out. We enjoyed it so much that we returned twice before heading home. What a delightful experience! Toba Wilderness will undoubtedly become a favorite stop for us in the coming years.

This was our first visit to Toba Wilderness. We had heard great things about it but had never requested reservations early enough to get in. The marina staff make such an effort to make you feel welcome—including learning your name and having nice conversations on the dock. The trails are excellent, somewhat challenging for older people but definitely doable. The marina provides you with bear spray and a horn—neither of which we had to use. Looking forward to returning to this beautiful place.

The area is stunningly, beautiful. The marina has all new Docs, a lovely pavilion and very clean bathrooms and showers. The hosts couldn’t be more accommodating and the marina is dog friendly. One of the most beautiful places I think we’ve ever seen.

Paul and Nahani were absolutely wonderful hosts and ambassadors for the marina. They were welcoming, helpful, friendly and gracious to all their customers. Best service we have had in any marina in years of cruising.

I think this might be the nicest marina we have ever stayed at. On all fronts, it both aspires and achieves "best" status: cleanliness, facilities, service, flexibility, and setting. The setting is gorgeous.
It is a bit more expensive than most, though it is worth every penny. Nahanni and Paul provided impeccable service. From the greeting that made us feel like VIPs all the way through to the send-off that made us feel like family. Suffice to say we are neither, though the hospitality was delightful and appreciated.

Amazing stay with Paul and Nahlya. I’m sure the is not spelt correctly. The marina is beautiful, clean and very well kept up. We had a great hike to the overlook and a fun day heading down the inlet. The caretakers are always around to answer questions, help to dock the boat etc. the views are outstanding. Peaceful and lovely even in the rain! Come as a stranger and leave as a friend. Thank you for your hospitality!

Paul and Nahinna are outstanding hosts! They are both there at the dock when you arrive, they take the time to get to know you, they stop by during your stay to check in and they are there handling your line when you leave! A great facility, clean, well taken care of and well built. The hiking was excellent!

Wonderful stay at Toba Wilderness Marina.

Not only are the hosts Nahinna, Paul and team absolutely wonderful people, they went out of their way to make sure that everyone in the marina felt welcome and enjoyed their experience at Toba. The setting is beautiful, and the facilities and large covered pergola at the top of the dock were top notch, with hiking and berry picking nearby.
The kids and families were delighted to be able to fish right off the dock and were excited to catch dogfish, small rockfish and some beauty Chinook Salmon which made for great dockside feasting. We will be back and thank you for your hospitality.
