Toba Wilderness Marina

Favorite place in Desolation Sound. Most spectacular view right from the dock. The host are also top notch making sure you have the best experience. Best fresh water & the grounds are immaculate.

The new hosts, Paul and Nahanni were AMAZING to say the least! They should be the “Gold Standard” for all marina managers. The grounds were stunning, the staff were helpful, polite & friendly and there wasn’t anything they couldn’t help you with. I hope the owners of Toba Wilderness realize what gems they have representing their establishment. My only recommendation to the TW owners is…invest in some washer & dryers for your boating guests. Love Toba Wilderness- wonderful marina hosts, solid concrete docks, water, power, big comfortable gathering area complete with tables, chairs, couches and propane fire pits, toilets, showers, well maintained trail system, dog friendly.

HIGHLY recommended! Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. Docks and shoreside facilities are first class. Our first time there and now anxious to return. Stunning location!

Amazing, everything, the people, the area, the views, the bathrooms, the trails, the best Marina in all this area.

What an outstanding experience for a variety of reasons (in no particular order) ... 1) Spectacular Views all around 2) Amazing Wildlife - the orca were passing through while we were there 3) hikes available AND the waterfall/hike is stunning (THEIR waterfall bringing the plentiful/delicious water to the docks through elaborate filtration) 4) impeccable, beautiful grounds 5) new docks with water and power at each location 6) new covered, view-oriented gathering area plus new baths/showers and the unexpected and very pleasant cherry on top was both Nahanni and Paul - what delightful human beings these two highly experienced managers are... we also enjoyed James. All went out of their way to ensure our visit was a memorable one. We will be back for sure! Thank you to our amazing hosts!! A special gem indeed! UPDATE - 2025: DITTO (with emphasis) on our 2024 review. Once again, an OUTSTANDING visit to Toba Wilderness Marina with Nahanni and Paul as our kind, caring, hard-working, accommodating, and DELIGHTFUL hosts. We also enjoyed Olivia this year. We look forward to our next visit soon! Thank you. p.s. this visit we had the added bonus of seeing black bears and a mama Grizzly with 2 cubs along the Toba Inlet shore about 2 miles up.

Nahani & Paul are great, the grounds are very well manicured and the view is amazing. Lots of hiking trails for those adventurous type. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Awesome place to visit! Amazing scenery, well maintained and clean. Docks are great and most of all the amazingly helpful and welcoming people who operate the marina. Paul, Nahanni and Liv are superb. The other marina guests were all friendly and welcoming as well, which I believe is created by the first initial greetings from Paul, Nahanni and Liv which inspires everyone to be as friendly and welcoming as they are. Hated to leave but hope to be back.

It would have been 5 stars except for fact that moorage charged in US dollars. For a marina in Canada, moorage should be in Canadian currency.

The investors in this marina had a great vision, invested a lot of money to make it perfect but the best decision they made was hiring Nahanni and Paul. Tireless, welcoming, making sure everything was attended to, they deserve the ultimate credit

What a beautiful spot and what a great marina. The docks and facilities are like new. Staff are super helpful and told us exactly how to find our slip. They were there to grab lines and hook up power. Showers are available at no cost. Water is pure. The manager even bakes breakfast treats that are free! Great spot.

Simply the best marina and Host's in the Desolation Sound/Georgia Straight area.. It is our "Go To" place to go and find a little piece of heaven in God's Country. If only the other "Wanna B's could understand what great socks and even better service means to the travelling Mariner.
