Waterside Marina

We are locals and have stayed at Waterside many times. James and staff are top notch, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Always enjoy being able to walk to attractions and good restaurants close by as well.

Met at the dock by two dock hands the helped us get tied up and oriented. Reservation and payment on Dockwa was effortless.

Waterside Marina is ALWAYS a great stay. The marina staff are very helpful and polite. The area around Waterside is so much fun- lots of good restaurants and bars with entertainment. We just completed another 4 day stay at Waterside marina. As always everything was perfect!!. The marina staff are so helpful and friendly!!! We are local to the area and LOVE our frequent stays there!!!

Perfect location, easy walk to restaurants and shops. Supermarket 2 mile bike ride. Great walking and biking paths along the waterfront. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable rates. Will stay here again.

The team at Waterside is the best!

I run a 80FT private motor yacht and have been stopping in Norfolk for many years. I always go to Waterside. The location is fantastic and the docks are top notch. I usually get lucky and get the 90ft floating pier which is a perfect spot. I just left after a 12 day stay waiting out weather heading back home to South Florida and the staff (Danny &James) were super accommodating as always. I had an open ended schedule and they made it happen. Truly the easiest Marina on the East Coast to deal with. I’ll be a customer for life! Thanks again to the guys over there for making my stay so easy and enjoyable. See y’all next summer! Cheers.

James, Danny, and the crew at Waterside are the most professional, courteous, and welcoming dockside crew. Their experience is a true value to us boaters. We look forward to staying again on our return trip.

The staff went above & beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. There were complimentary rides to the supermarket (in the mornings) & they even met you when you returned with a cart & helped you load them on your boat. The marina - very conveniently located to everything! Will definitely be back ;).

We spent two nights tied up at Waterside Marina and really enjoyed our stay. The dockmaster, Jimmy, called us mid-afternoon to check on our projected arrival and let us know our dock assignment. We had requested a port side tie and upon arrival, Danny and Kendal were waiting on the finger pier of a perfect slip to assist with the dock lines, connect our water lines and filter, get us connected to shore power, and perform a pump-out. They performed those tasks with the speed and precision of a NASCAR pit crew! The floating docks with adjustable cleat placement were great. The marina is very near parks, museums, numerous restaurants, and shopping that are all within easy walking distance. We toured the General Douglas MacArthur museum, which was a few blocks away and offered free admission. Waterside Marina has a 5-star team running a very nice facility. We will certainly return.

Great location. Staff is outstanding. Facilities are immaculate. Always stay here when traveling the ICW.

Great crew. I had an engine starter issue and was given a list of mechanics and recommendation. Mechanical issue was resolved in less than 24 hours. Nice location for pets and waking. Marina offers a car service every morning to Harris Teeter for groceries. The restroom/shower area is in a building outside the dock area but safe and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Dock hands were awesome! Washroom facilities were very nice and very clean. Close proximity to great food and shopping! I give it a solid 10!

What a find.....right in the heart of downtown Norfolk and very reasonably priced considering the location. Amazing staff - couldn't do enough for us. Would certainly recommend a stay here - it was so good we went back a 2nd time!
