Great spot, family friendly. Cruising with 4 kids. Manager Russ and club members very welcoming. Firepit, grill, nice lawn to toss a football, baseball field with a bin full of bats and balls right up the street. Russ offered a crabbing setup for the kids, they were psyched. Short walk to Pequot house for dinner, then to town for ice cream, also an easy walk to movie theater and nearby south beach. October visit so everything was pretty dead which was part of the fun. We will be back.

Russ was very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our time at FIYC. The Pequot had good food and a nice atmosphere. We will be back again.

FIYC staff (Russ / NIck) are tops. Great service and friendly folks. Well protected harbor in a pristine setting. Quiet and peaceful feel to the island. For an overnight or stopover on points north and east FIYC is a total win.

Docking in Fishers Island is bit like New York's equivalent of Cuttyhunk, MA. A lovely quiet little cove that exudes the charm that extends from here thru Maine. The Dockmaster knows his stuff, helping us arrive & tie up the boat with excellent professionalism, including warning us on the radio on approach that a particular post should be treated as a green channel marker in order to avoid a hazard.
We happened to stay there on a Tuesday, which is the one day in the week where the main (and well-loved) nearby restaurant & bar is closed. Fortunately we'd had a big lunch and had good nibbles on-board. If you don't, there's a nearby market with good looking paninis & other deli treats you can sang as long as you get there before it closes.
All in all, it was one of the highlights of our cruise week. Highly recommended.

This is our second time staying at Fisher Island yacht club. We will definitely be back. Everyone there was awesome and the facilities are squeaky clean with the best bathrooms We have found anywhere. When we arrived three Dock hands were there to make sure we were secure. Nick, the dockmaster was always asking if there was anything that he could do. There is a soft sandy beach a very short walk away from the marina. The grocery store was about a 10 minute walk and had exceptional food to go. You just have to watch for their hours which is, somewhat limited and closed on Sundays. We enjoyed the ice cream shop A deli and the Pequot inn. I highly recommend this Marina if you were looking for peaceful place and a great stop over on your journey.

Russ and his team were helpful and courteous. Joining the members for cocktails was a treat as was the lobster dinner.

We had a very nice stay for our one night layover enroute to points further east. Nick the dock master along with a young man named Mac were extremely helpful and accommodating. The members that we met were friendly and helpful with some great advice on our travel plans. We would definitely stay here again.
About Fishers Island Yacht Club
2023 Update: The marina at FIYC is open for the season. We have very limited space, so we encourage you to book your trip early. In the event that the dates you desire are already booked, we will add your name to a waitlist. You will be notified if we are able to accommodate your request. Thank you for all your support!
Fishers Island Yacht Club offers a friendly, fully staffed marina with plenty of transient dockage. The club is pleased to extend to its guests the privilege of using some member-only spaces such as our covered veranda that opens onto a lovely waterfront lawn where picnic tables and a large charcoal grill are available. Likewise, marina guests may use our showers and heads. Uses of other FIYC spaces can be arranged on advance request.
The Marina is centrally located and makes a great starting point to explore a bit of this quiet picturesque island. Everything from the ice cream shop, bike rentals, and the museum plus a grocery store, deli, and restaurant are within easy walking distance. Fuel is located right next door. FIYC also offers vessels 26' and under temporary dockage for a few hours.
Sit back and relax in the cockpit to watch the sunset and gathering dusk across our truly beautiful and tranquil harbor. No neon signs here!
