Rhett at the marina was the best, Very helpful docking a wealth of information about the area and all-around pleasant person to deal with. Very nice stocks facilities are very good restaurants at the end of the dock are good and reasonably priced.

Very helpful dock folks. Nice restaurants. Good power/water/wifi. Easy access to everything on HHI. Good tidal current to assist with docking. Well protected. Think I’ll stay longer!

Nice marina and very helpful staff. They went above and beyond to help us resolve a mechanical issue. There are a few restaurants within the marina. We ate at the Carolina Crab Company; very friendly staff and tasty food. There is also free laundry available at the dock.

Outside dock meant boat rocking whenever a boat passed. But, I guess, the inter docks are for permenent residents. The bathrooms were great and clean. Restaurants were an easy way away. thanks.

We love this Marina. Everything is new docks,electric and water. Tony the Harbor master is incredible and location is perfect. Everything is within walking or a short bike ride.

Great place. Friendly staff. Grateful for a short notice stay. Will definitely come back. Love the area. The only improvement needed! For a multi million dollar marina, the bathrooms need just a little work at not much cost. Put a sign in that tells people to clean up after themselves. Wipe off counters, clean hair from drains. Clean toilet with a brush. The marina needs to put in shower curtains often. Provide paper towels. Provide a toilet brush and some cleaner. Have more expectations of your customers to take care of most of it. Do you have a dock master? Manager? Someone should be responsible. This is a fantastic marina. Sad that the one I went in was like it was.

We spent a week with our 24ft pontoon in a slip at Palmetto bay. Staff and the accommodations were very nice. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was a fine stop. Except whoever answered the radio sent me to the wrong spot so I had to readjust. Not a big deal just a little annoying. Docks are in good shape. Bathrooms were clean and they have a free laundry. One machine was broken, several restaurants and the one that we ate at was good . We would stay here again.

Dock crew was very accomodating, particularly after a boat pulled a hit and run on my vessel. Dock videos caught the entire incident. Marina helped to resolce the issue. Clean docks.

About Palmetto Bay Marina

Palmetto Bay Marina, featuring all new docks and amenities, offers boaters the safety, convenience, and comfort of a full-service marina on the warm Carolina coast. We're only 1/2 mile from the Intracoastal Waterway, located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We can easily accommodate vessels up to 150+ feet.

We're excited to have completed our multi-phase restoration project at Palmetto Bay Marina. All of the facilities have been fully renovated including docks, wifi, integrated power supply, showers/restrooms, fueling stations, patio areas, and more. We’re seeing lots of boats from the loop this season making their way to the island for great weather and a slow-paced attitude.

Our location, tucked inland, provides 22 feet at low tide making an ideal stopover for larger vessels, sailboats, and catamarans. No height restrictions and wide hulls are welcome.
