DOCKWA makes the reservation process easy. This dock needs a new lock. Perhaps a keypad would work best. The gate was wide open when we left

The dock was great, nice and close to the action. That said, a lot of vagriants in the park, sleeping and lurking around making us just a bit uneasy. Noth8ng happened however, that's probably important to say.

Location is perfect. Kevin met us at dock and helped us tie up. Electric worked great. Still no water. Only complaint is that lock for gate entrance is a bit hard to use. Not too bad leaving, but coming back it was really hard to see numbers at night and unlock gate. A push button entrance lock on gate door would be a great improvement. We did not have any problems while there. Boat docked by us had someone climb on their boat at 2 am night before.

The young man at the dock was a tremendous help with our boat and with getting us set up to make a payment.

We had a great time, docking was fast and easy. We had help from one of the employees on the dock. Helped us tie up and was very helpful. Looking forward to our next outing to downtown.

Great place to stay, would have given five stars if there had been water hookups. Thanks for a great time!

Much easier to Reserve the transit slip then in prior years. Only glitch is figuring out how to unlock the lock. And I've been told they are changing their system with that. Love boating to downtown Nashville

Everything was great especially the staff but I wish water was available.Electric was fine this time.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the feedback Greg, great having you down at Riverfront. Yes we’ve been asking the city for water for years now. No luck yet. In regards to power I know you said it tripped one time at night but then worked the following day with no issues. Feel free to reach out to us with more details if it did not continue to work so we can record it for that pedestal to see if it’s a consistent issue or just boat related. Thank you!

Andrew and his team run a first class operation and are very accommodating. The Nashville Yacht Club is making our weekend there an annual event.
Marina Response:
Thank you Don, We're so glad everyone had a nice visit with us! Appreciate your support and kind review!

Marina Response:

Great docks in the heart of Nashville! Easy online reservation and Dockmaster onsite to help us with our boat.

Doesn’t have water there was ants all over the dock no lock on the gate its not a safe place
Marina Response:
Steve, Thank you for the feedback, as you book online it says that we do not have water. We have set that expectation in advance so that everyone can plan that we do NOT have water. I wish we did! In regards to the lock and ants, we were a little short staffed Friday but I wish you would have notified us and we could have resolved all of this right away. Apologies that this happened as it should not have and we have rid the dock of all ants so far this year. We will do better!

No one was at the dock to check us in and we never received the code to the gate. Upon return to the dock, we had to squeeze through a crack in the gate just to get to our boat.
Marina Response:
Bradley, sorry that you had to do that but there are multiple ways to get in touch with us if you are there when we are not in business hours. please make sure to read through our Dockwa page and or give us a call at anytime for information. On our Dockwa page it states how to find your gate code which is located in your "trip" section of the app, select today's trip then scroll down and look for "gate code". Emails get sent out 2 days prior with arrival information but they could end up in your spam. If you do not find the email, we are always available via message in Dockwa, text message or a simple phone call which the phone number is listed on the dock and our Dockwa page. Thank you for the feedback!

Beautiful spot. Suprised it was not busy. Loved the Views
Marina Response:
Thank you Scott! Yes we stay pretty busy in the summer and usually only sell out the docks for events or games nearby. Thank you for visiting us!

The staff was very responsive via Dockwa app and helped out with reservation changes. I couldn't be happier with their prompt friendly service. The single, linear dock has needed repairs. The power pedestal worked fine for our 50A needs. The dock was clean and had sufficient trash cans. The location is absolutely in the heart of downtown Nashville; with that comes noise and the potential for crime. The existing gate to the dock is insufficient and has a combination lock and chain for lockage. Other than needed repairs on the dock, there's not much else that can be done to improve the docking facilities until the city of Nashville begins to take seriously its relationship to the river. We had a good time the two nights we were docked. Boaters should know this is not a quiet safe marina, but rather an expensive limited dockage in the heart of the Nashville tourist zone.
Marina Response:
Thank you John, appreciate the feedback, especially to set the expectations again for future reservations that we are in the heart of a major city. It sounds like you thought this was not in downtown or in a major city so we will update our listing to better describe our location (BTW we think this location is amazing for boaters to be able to access so many of the great amenities Nashville has to offer!). The dock has a locked gate and additional fencing we added last year, of course there is always room for improvement but we have made vast improvements over years past. We are also proud to say we have not had any petty theft issues since our new fencing & improved lighting was installed (we have not ever had personal safety issues at our docks). Obviously being in the heart of Nashville is an amazing opportunity, with that anyone should be aware of their surroundings - this is not Ashland City and everyone should know that before reserving dock space. If you are not comfortable walking around in a major city this dock is NOT for you. We are also not a full marina, just a transient dock in the heart of downtown Nashville as described on the Dockwa page. If you are looking for a more remote and secluded marina I would recommend Rock Harbor Marina. Thanks again and hope we can earn the opportunity to host you again! Cheers - LOM

The trip to downtown Lock One Marine Nashville Municipal Dock was easy and uneventful. Docking was simple with an attendant (Kevin)that was very helpful. We arrived around 1:00pm and departed around 6:00 PM.

No power, terrible access, high cost
Marina Response:
David, It looks like you docked on the West Bank Fixed Dock for some reason. Please read our profile page or give us a call to better understand the amenities and dock locations. The East Bank T-Dock has power and secure gate access with a gangway. Though you did not purchase power which is required to use the power. The West Bank is a voluntary overflow dock for easier access to broadway. You chose that dock and there is no power there as described and no secure gate. please reach out to us next time if you have questions on this so we can better set the expectations of what you might be looking for! Always here and happy to help!

All was in order. Person assisting me was very helpful even I didn't have a reservation but he gave me time after my arrival to make reservation.

Would love to see the fencing at the entrance improved. It’s really a joke and easily scaled .

by Anthony H. on Oct 16, 2023
Stayed there 10/14/23 Dock Master was awesome and a big help. 50 Amp at the post was very marginal. My panel was only showing 102 volts. Also there is no water. After Paying $127.00 for one night. It should be a 5 star facility.I will come back. But get it together City of Nashville.

Very clean and convenient.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year. The only issue we had were the smaller boats going to fast which created wakes. The area was very clean and I felt safe. Thank you and hope to be back next year.

About Lock One Marine: Nashville Municipal Docks

Thank you for considering dockage at Nashville Riverfront operated by Lock One Marine in downtown Nashville, Cumberland River (mile 191). With your reservation at the docks, you have access to nearby bars, restaurants, restrooms, parks, and event center locations such as Nissan Stadium, Ascend Amphitheater Ryman, etc. Please read the below thoroughly before booking.

DOCKING LOCATIONS (see marina map for more details on location):

T-DOCK EAST BANK (linear pier): Floating concrete dock with 380' of usable dock space, 5 electrical pedestals and secure gate access. Located on the east bank near Nissan Stadium and is an easy 10 min walk over the pedestrian bridge to broadway.

WEST BANK FIXED DOCK: Fixed concrete dock, no power access or secure gate access. This dock is primarily for overflow or if you request to utilize this dock due to proximity to Broadway. We are not responsible for your vessel so please plan accordingly as this is not a secure dock. We recommend boats over 30' utilize this space when needed due to the higher freeboard required to access the concrete landing over the railing. To request this location insert "West Bank Fixed Dock" into the special request line when making a reservation. Please note once assigned to the West Bank you cannot switch to the east bank if those docks are fully reserved.

ELECTRICAL: The dock has (2) 30 and (1) 50 Amp/208 GFI breakers per pedestal, please ensure you are equipped with the latest grounding technology on your vessels not to trip the breakers.

LENGTH OVER ALL: Please input the Length Over All (LOA) of your vessel in Dockwa correctly, we have limited dock space and are typically full during the weekends, LOA Includes swim platforms, dingies, and pulpits that all extend past the vessel length. Expect to be docked within 2-3' of the nearest vessel as we try to maximize access to our dock being that we are so limited on space with 380' of linear dockage available.

GATE CODE ACCESS: To access the gate code please log into your Dockwa account within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival date. Select TRIPS and the most recent trip details for additional information. Pre-arrival emails are sent prior to arrival with Marina Map and Gate code access. Please lock the gate behind you as you depart or arrive back at the dock.

OLD HICKORY LAKE: Lock Master (we recommend calling ahead for barge schedule to plan accordingly): 615-847-3281. We do not issue refunds if the lock is full all day and they will not let you through until late in the day, plan accordingly.

FUEL & WATER: is not currently offered at our marina. If you are coming from downriver you can access amenities at Harpeth Shoals Marina (recommended for draft over 3.5’) and Rock Harbor Marine.

DOCKWA ACCOUNT: Contact Dockwa support if you need help accessing your account. 401-236-8304

Booking Info

Please review the attached "known obstruction" document to avoid dock issues. There is a known underwater obstruction between the bridge pier and the docks. All vessels with greater than 3' draft should avoid this area. Please avoid the water under the bridge as your running gear may not have clearance.

Please Note: Please use caution when entering the area of the dock on the East Bank. The area shown in red should be avoided by all vessels that draft more than 3' as there is a known obstruction in the vicinity of this area located under the bridge. The water both upstream and downstream is safe for dockage. Upon dockage, you will notice that the area in question is restricted with barricades.

Please avoid dockage on the downstream end of the East Bank. The perimeter of this area will be painted yellow. This space is permitted and utilized by a vessel that will load and unload passengers on a schedule for tours.
