Very helpful staff as they texted me updates, organized others to grab my lines afterhours, provided menus and locations to local eateries, and fun things to do. We will be back in the fall!

This is a great Marina, just a short distance from the ICW, easy to get to downtown, with some great restaurants less than 2 min walk. Collin the dockmaster send a text every night with things to do in town, a nice touch. Tristan the dockhand is always àvailable to answer any questions. There are bikes you can use as well as free laundry. The guest house has 3 bathrooms with showers and were clean and a nice lounge as well. We really enjoyed our time there and can highly recommend, if you do stay take the local history tour with Bob in the golf cart, and the ferry to Cumberland Island is right there. Will come back for sure.

We stayed for a week while leaving the boat. It felt safe and secure. Colin Reddy was extremely helpful and even shipped a package to us that arrived after departure. He took the time to drive the package to a local shipper was beyond the call of duty. We plan to return the next time we pass through. We highly recommend this marina, thank you Colin for your kindness! Shannon , Jeff and Lylah, SV Calypso .

The Gen Mgr Colin and Tristan were awesome. When I had mechanical issues, Colin found me help right away. Tristan was always helpful on the docks. They both made.me feel like I was at my home marina. The free laundry, and bicycles, was a awesome. The house turned office and boaters lounge definitely makes it feel like you are in a home. Very comfortable.

We would come back. Nice floating docks and extremely dog friendly marina and town. Staff person Bob gives a great golf cart tour of town. Marina office is at the ranch style home across the open yard/park. Free laundry machines and courtesy bikes available even after hours. Lounge with huge TV is in what would have been the living room. Two full bathrooms. Harbor host Karen available during day to drive to for provisioning. Regretfully, pumpout was not working and security gate needed to be propped open. Colin was so on top of communications that we had to come. Not to mention, AGLCA sponsor! Met Tristan who was also friendly. I was even able to use the full size oven and kitchen space for baking. Thank you!
Marina Response:
Thank you for your five star review! The pump out has been repaired. We have no issues with our security gate, it’s propped open during the day to make it easier for boaters. Safe travels ! Colin Redy, General Manager

This is our second stay at this special place. Colin and his staff do such a great job taking care of your needs. The town is lovely with good restaurants and parks. We will be back.

The marina was perfect for what I needed - we have family in the area so location was ideal. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful! Excellent experience all around. Make note that the marina is quite simple in its approach compared to the bigger, fancier marinas but covers all of the amenities you'd expect to see. (Fuel is elsewhere though). St. Marys is a nice town to stop at also along the ICW

Spent a night in early May and really enjoyed the town and marina. Bob gave us a very informative golf cart tour of the town. We enjoyed the submarine museum and had a great dinner at Locals Dockside. The shrimp was delicious. The dock house is a little walk from the marina but has clean showers and free laundry. It was a great stop! Thanks.

I had an overnight at St. Marys and was really pleased. I was selling a boat and delivering it the next day. Colin was a great help docking the boat and positioning it for an early departure the next.

Amazing marina with the friendliest and most helpful staff we’ve encountered in 4,000 miles of travel thus far! The town is adorable and also very friendly. Highly recommend a stop (or stay awhile) at St. Mary’s!!

Fantastic small marina. About 8 boats The office / bathroom / boater’s lounge / free laundry are in a small home !! Wonderful atmosphere ! Nice to get off your boat and sit inside a house , especially when you’ve been cruising full-time on a boat for two years. The staff is wonderful they gave us a personal golf cart tour of the little town. Great coffee shop called Kraken! Had happy hour at a great bar / restaurant! Charming place !! Small town with a big personality!!!

It’s a small marina, but mighty on their promptness, information of the city and hospitality. First off, before even getting to the marina, they sent a picture of the dock and showed us where our slip was by highlighting it in red. They provided us with information about the town and surrounding area. They couldn’t have been nicer!
The town is great. A couple museums and one of the best city parks we have seen while doing the loop (for a second time ). Good choice of restaurants too.
We will definitely return to this Marina!

Awesome Colin and Bob are the best super helpful and St Mary’s is a great stop. Ez walk into town … just one block and you’re in the middle of town. A beautiful place to stay.

St. Marys Intracoastal Gateway Marina is simply outstanding. I would describe it as a marina (and town too) not to be missed - a gem. Walk out of the marina into the park. Walk a very short couple blocks for coffee, ice cream, dinner, live music. The marina has everything needed and is maintained with pride to a high level and boaters know what that is all about, but you can read about the marina details online. What I really want to emphasize is their commitment to boater satisfaction and that is provided by the people. They will do anything they are able to do to assist in making your stay the best and you too will depart feeling compelled to leave them a 5 star review. Go see for yourself. We had water in our dinghy tubes and this writer's back was saved when Colin brought me two saw horses. I was both grateful and impressed, but I could tell that is just the way this guy rolls. St. Marys is a small marina that delivers like a giant. We departed feeling fortunate that we decided to stop here.

The docks are floating and all new. Colin the Dockmaster met us and helped us get tied up and even gave us a 10 minute golf cart ride around the town to get familiar with everything within walking distance. The ferry to Cumberland Island is right down the street which is very convenient if you have wanted to visit this island where the horses roam free! The only downside for our visit was the wind which made the river choppy and a little uncomfortable during the day. The wind was light overnight and the chop layed down quite nicely for a good nights sleep.

Lovely Marina with the nicest dock master and staff! Thank you Colin, Tristan and Bob. See you again

Tristan was very helpful both with the docking and seeing picturesque St. Mary’s. It is a bit off the ICW but don’t let that dissuade you

Before we arrived, the marina contacted us for arrival instructions (a first on our travels). Once at the dock, the staff was great, helped us with any questions/concerns and gave us a golf cart ride around town. The marina has good depth, 18 feet at low tide. The marina owns a house nearby that is the restrooms/showers and lounge space. Walkable and very friendly town with local shops and restaurants. Highly recommended place to stop.

A great experience overall. Colin could not have been more helpful and forthcoming. He genuinely cared about our welfare and experience. I/we will absolutely be returning at the next opportunity. Scott Vinall

St Mary’s Marina is in great shape but is a small marina which is actually very nice. The guys who met us at the dock were professional and very friendly. After we were secure, one of them came back and gave us a golf cart tour of the little town and pointed out the best restaurants and other interesting shops around town. All very local and friendly. The marina office and lounge are in a small house near the docks and it’s very homey and had nice air conditioning!!! And wifi!!!

Super helpful staff even took us for a golfcart tour around town. Deep water at the docks made a nice change from some of the shallow marinas we'd stopped at along the way from the Keys. St Marys is a bit out of the way, but well worth the sidetrip from the AICW. The docks are an easy walk to the downtown.
