We got a weekend slip for coast guard weekend and everything went so smooth for being our first time. Every detail was in the confirmation email and made it easy to find our slip. The property was very well maintained and the bathrooms were very very clean! Free coffee in the morning was a bonus! Everyone was very welcoming! Will definitely stay again in the future!

Great spot - easy walk to downtown. Out of the way and shielded from surf and wx.
Facilities were modern and clean. Bill Bailey was ver accommodating.

Our stay with GH Yacht Club was fantastic from start to finish. Booking the slip was fast and easy. We arrived, checked in and got settled in just a matter of minutes. The communication from staff was great and the facilities were even better. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked; having morning coffee and ice on site were a huge bonus for us too! The neighbors were friendly (and quiet). Being able to walk in to town for dinner was absolutely wonderful and our dog definitely enjoyed the Grand Haven social district too. We will definitely be back!

Nice setting. Showed up mid afternoon on Sunday. There was no marina personnel available,no slip assignment. Bathrooms were vary clean. Close to town.

We started with four nights at the GH Municipal Marina right next door. But oh what a difference the move to GHYC made! Unlike the muni, GHYC was quiet, secluded from the large crowds and loud concert noise, and protected from the very rough Grand Haven River. The permanent owners at this dockominium marina were all friendly and Bill, the dockmaster, was amazingly helpful in getting us squared away. The town of Grand Haven is one of our favorites and GHYC is now a big part of that. We'll be back! -M&C

Our time this weekend at Grand Haven Yacht Club was excellent! Bill was fantastic and coordinated our reservation with a nice personal touch. The slip was well maintained and bathroom facilities were sanitized and clean. We met several new friends and plan to return several times this summer!

Narrow slips but good amenities. Clean bathroom/shower facilities. Staff at the wharf are super friendly and helped us dock. Great experience!

Marina's location is superb - few minutes walk to downtown, the grounds are kept in excellent shape, bathrooms are clean, but marina is dealing with challenging conditions - fixed docks just above water level and club building is closed due to COVID19. WiFi coverage could be expended - i had nothing in the south basin. Hopefully the situation will improve in the future, looking forward to visiting again.

Had a great get together with my old high school buddies at GHYC. Lots of nearby parking, restaurants, convenience stores, and clean air conditioned bathrooms. Slips were all numbered for easy recognition.

Grand Haven Yacht Club is a member owned condominium organization comprised of 151 slips in the heart of Grand Haven, Michigan.
Located within walking distance of the iconic Boardwalk and Lake Michigan beach and Downtown, there are several nearby options for eating, drinking and shopping. The Yacht Club is also one of the best locations in town to enjoy the week long Coast Guard Festival and Fireworks Spectacular. If you’re planning a visit to the Grand Haven area the local visitor’s bureau can assist with information and planning.
We’re one of the only marinas within walking distance of Grand Haven’s Downtown, which makes GHYC one of the best places to dock when you’re traveling. We can accommodate boats up to 44 feet in length. Once you’re docked, you’ll find friendly people all around, welcoming you to enjoy a warm summer night on the on the Grand River.
