SAYC was exceptional. Great floating docks, reliable power and the service personal could not have been more helpful. Haul out area and dock walkways were cleaned daily. Overall one of the best marinas we have used in over 45 years of boating.

Excellent stay. Quiet marina but really close to all things Annapolis. We had to extend our stay because we were waiting for a part to be delivered and we weren't sad about it. It gave us time to watch the semi finals and finale of the FIFA 2026 games, and to relax and explore Annapolis at our own pace. Very dog friendly and there's a grassy area close to the dock for the pooches to play.
Remy was super friendly and helpful ad well as was Buddy. Shout out to Ed on the dock for the help maneuvering into our slip on arrival and for the help as we departed. Thank you! See you next time.

Incredibly protected marina with a top notch staff. Communication via Dockwa was excellent, concise and expedient! Laundry and bath showers incredibly clean. The docks were terrific as well. The staff provided recommendations for bottom cleaning. The haul out service and turn around for repair was efficient and impressive. Highly recommend SAYC! We felt confident leaving our vessel for a few weeks in such good hands. Thank you!!

Wonderful stay in Annapolis. From the SAYC we could easily walk into the heart of Annapolis and check out all the main sights to see. Marina was very clean and the staff was all very friendly. Gym, laundry, showers, and bathrooms were all very clean and nice. The only issue was there was no way to prevent others from coming into the bathroom when you were getting dressed/undressed for the shower, but it was a pretty quiet place. We would definitely return!

Buddy, the marina manager, was very communicative in advance, helpful upon our arrival, and generally made our visit a pleasurable and easy experience. The facilities were very clean and new and the proximity to everything Eastport and Annapolis have to offer was spectacular. We will plan to stay here again next time we are in Annapolis.

Everyone here is very helpful and friendly. They entire property is spotless and well maintained. Looks more like a resort than a Marina/Yard. Bathrooms are the nicest/cleanest I have seen in any marina. Wind protection is exceptional. It was blowing 40 knots last night and while we were moving around a bit it was only because of the windage on our 90ft mast. The location is exceptional, great restaurants 10 min walk and its maybe 15 min to walk to downtown Annapolis. Great security ( gated and cameras ) and very quiet. We will for sure be back if we return to the Chesapeake.

Modern, clean, first class operation. Every slip has a full length finger dock that is boat floating and wide. Super clean water (I measured at 65ppm) with plenty of pressure. About an 8 minute walk to the closest restaurant and maybe 13-14 minute walk to the waterfront circle in Annapolis. Ubers are plentiful and it’s a 8 minute drive to the local Safeway. Marina is quiet at night as it is well off the beaten path. Excellent protection from winds out of any direction. Can’t say enough good about South Annapolis Yacht Yard.

Great marina! We loved the beautiful floating docks, gym, laundry and the quiet, calm of Spa Creek while still being within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. We wish we had time for a longer stay.

We stayed at South Annapolis Yacht Centre for the Annapolis Boat Shows in October of 2025. The marina facilities, staff, location and service were all amazing. We will definitely be back as we pass through next season.

Welcome to South Annapolis Yacht Centre (SAYC); the exclusive in-town destination marina with 74 annual and transient slips accommodating vessels up to 135 feet. Following a fresh vision after an extensive redevelopment, SAYC is part of a rich Annapolis maritime heritage and will be a beautiful marina village, a state of the art boatyard, and office spaces available to local maritime businesses. Our new marina features floating piers, Ipe decking, state-of-the-art power pedestals, a new three-phase power grid, and many other amenities.
SAYC is conveniently located along Spa Creek in the historic Eastport area of Annapolis, Maryland. Considered the most protective haven for yachts in the area, our location upriver of the Spa Creek drawbridge is protected, quiet, and less subject to the wakes, currents & wind associated with being in the harbor. Just a short walk or water taxi to downtown Annapolis, SAYC has easy access to city dock, Annapolis Harbor and the Severn River. We offer an ideal homeport for enjoying the most popular parts of the Chesapeake Bay, or the perfect cruising destination for transient captains.
