The facility and docks are pristine, and staff are helpful and friendly. Great location. Would have been a five star rating except that 15 minutes before arrival we received a call from the dockmaster saying that we were being assigned a 50’ slip (turned out to be 45’) after paying for 64’. We requested more dock footage but were declined. Availability of the requested dock space was observed for most of our stay. Had we known this was going to be the case ahead of time, there would have been a chance to switch to another marina. Having 20’ of boat extended beyond the dock with no tie-off protection to a dock or piling is a risk we will not accept in the future.

We strive to ensure every stay is as smooth and enjoyable as possible, and I’d like to address your concerns. First, we understand that slip adjustments can sometimes be unexpected, and we apologize if this caused any inconvenience. As with many marinas nationwide, slip assignments can be affected by various logistical factors and overhang is often very typical. The 50' floating finger pier you were assigned is actually one of our most sought after due to its ease of approach and its beautiful, unobstructed views of the harbor and Spa Creek Bridge. We prioritize safety for all of our vessels, and we would never put your boat in a position that we considered unsafe. In fact, this slip has safely accommodated boats up to 85’ at the request of their owners and allows for a secure tie-off, tight to the floating dock, with no worry of tidal changes. While we do our best to communicate slip assignments in advance, availability sometimes changes short notice. Upon your arrival, we assisted with the docking process and, after discussing the slip, believed you were satisfied. We never want our guests to feel their vessel is at risk, and we made sure your vessel was safely tied up. Had we known you remained uneasy, we would have worked to find a better solution. We were gracious to your contractors and let them work on the weekends even though it is against our policies. We also made our best efforts to accommodate the use of your dinghy, which was successful, understanding how important these aspects were for your stay. We apologize again for any discomfort you felt, we did not know you remained uneasy after docking, and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Thank you Buddy and your great staff. Thanks for making us feel at home and your knowlable dock hands. South Annapolis is a nice walk to town over the bridge and to the restaurants in South Annapolis before the bridge. There is also a water taxi available if needed. We felt comfortable as well as safe. Our friend’s had no issues when having to park their cars to meet up with us in their lot.

Great location. People are helpful & very friendly. The marina has the best floating docks available and everything is super clean. Restaurants etc. a short walk.

Very nice marina. Not too long a walk to downtown. Nobody answered the radio as we were coming in. We called the phone number given but the message said it was after hours and leave a message even though it was 2:00 pm. We were approaching the dock so didn't bother to leave a message and hit our horn. Dock hand came out then. He said if you leave a message they get right back to you. Don't be fooled by the "it's after hours" message. Otherwise great place.

Beautiful facility serving mega and little boats alike. Dockmaster waited for us past closing due to lift bridge opening delayed for 15 minutes due to fire/medical emergency. Planning to stay longer next time!

We had such a great time! The marina and the shipyard is so quiet, beautiful and clean. It felt amazing to be here during on our stay. It is also close from Annapolis Downtown and many great restaurants. The dock master were super helpful and polite. Thank you Marina Team!

The marina itself is an excellent facility in a great location. The only reasons I did not give it 5 starts was, we made a last minute (day before) reservation, and the online booking lacked confirmation communications. Also it would have been nice to have coffee on a Sunday morning.

Great facilities, pleasant 15 minute walk to Downtown Annapolis. Buddy (Dock Manager) was super polite and welcoming. They even had complimentary coffee and donuts on Saturday morning. Docks are in great shape and the whole place had a classy vibe. We will be back.

Wonderful marina located close to downtown Annapolis. The floating docks were clean and well maintained and the dock master Billy was very helpful with anything we needed. It was very easy to find and docking was a breeze. The water taxi comes right to the marina to take you downtown or you can take a quick walk over the Eastport Bridge to get to the action. The bathhouse was very clean and the grounds well maintained.

Close to town (15-minute walk). Great docks. Very peaceful and nice scenery / views. We wouldn't have explored Eastport if we didn't stay there. Staff were great. It will definitely be on my list for next time.

Really peaceful marina. Amazing location. Close to restaurants in the neighborhood and easy to get to downtown. Great lawn for the dog. No charge laundry facilities and a fitness center. We are already booked for a second stay.

Our stay at SAYC was great in all respects. It is a very fine, upscale marina in lovely Eastport. Buddy and Remy were extremely helpful. We will make this our go to marina in the Annapolis area.

We spent a fantastic week over 4th of July at SAYC!. Buddy is first class and made us feel at home as if we were annual slipholders! The facilities are top notch and marina provides easy access to town - walking, or via tender or the water taxi! And you can feel secure with the gated entrance! We will be back next summer! Welcome to South Annapolis Yacht Centre (SAYC); the exclusive in-town destination marina with 74 annual and transient slips accommodating vessels up to 135 feet.
