We docked this time to have shore power for a heater, and to take the pressure off finishing dinner ashore while the launch is running. Harbormaster office is right there with showers, and the staff is professional and friendly. Not sure if there are line handlers for docking, but our west wind was right from the back of the slip and we just backed in and hopped off to tie. Sad to see their season ends 10/15.

The Harbor Masters moorings are large and well marked. The equipment is new this year, 2 whips and a pick up. Easy to moor. The area has all you need for a boating trip.

Upon entering harbor, hailed harbormaster on VHF 9 and was given mooring assignment and clear instructions on how to find the mooring which was well marked among the many other private and club moorings in Scituate Harbor. Called harbormaster on the phone and asked about where to park dinghy and was provided clear instructions. Overall, decent facility, beautiful place, and good service by the harbormaster.

They were fabulous. We were mistakenly given a mooring for a smaller boat so when we pointed out that the gave a a spot at the dock for the same price as a mooring. Dockhands and harbor master were very helpful for docking and undocking. We very much appreciated their giving us space at the dock.

Great place to lay up. Everything you need within walking distance (groceries, chandelry, laundromat, Dunkins, pizza, erc.). Staff was great, friendly, and helpful. Especially the pumpout crew. The docks are in great shape. Only thing keeping a five star review is the showers are cramped with little privacy (they are seperate from the bathrooms).

No issues. Stayed on mooring. Of note, no longer provide launch service for moorings. It was listed on Dockwa in fine print but missed it as have been there many times in past with launch service. Staff helpful and friendly.

l really can't say enough about the harbormaster team at Cole Parkway. We had a maintenance problem and they were extremely responsive and helpful. Marina facility is first class too! Location perfect...very close to multiple restaurants and other shops. Will definitely be back!

The mooring was where they said it would be. It was further from the Marina than I expected and there was no launch service in the evening. Oh well. We arrived at sunset and left at sunrise. A quick stop. Not much to say.

Harbormaster was very helpful. Mooring was priced reasonably. Town is nice; best Lobster bisque at Wharf Mill. Note: there is no tender, so you have to have a dinghy if using one of these moorings.

Harbormaster was quickly responsive when calling in for mooring assignment. Guys in the office very friendly. The launch we used was Cedar Point: $6.00 per person each way. Along with the tip, pretty expensive to get ashore. Showers and facilities available and clean. Mooring right at entrance to harbor, very open to the east.

The marina stay was great. The Harbormaster met us upon arrival and assisted with the tieup. Good location for the slip, and the electrical service was perfect (30Amp x 2). There seems to have been a lot of work done on the floats and electrical service since our last visit in 2019. The Harbormaster and his staff are very friendly and checked with us more than once to see how our stay was going. There was no problem getting a pump out either. Hope to return next season. Jamie T.

I arrived after dark to find that the Harbormaster had given my assigned slip (EZS) away. They put me on the pump out T dock of which I barley fit. Had to plug into two different power Stanton’s as each had either dead plugs or reversed polarity. Assistant harbormasters were no help and never left the harbormasters office. They only had a “yeah, sorry, don’t know what happened”. Definitely not worth my $118

Excellent. Very accommodating. The Harbor has gotten very busy over the years. Launch services aren't as easy to come by as one might expect for a Harbor that is as busy as it seems to be at least on weekends. Overall, it's one of the better safe havens you'll find in Cape Cod Bay.

Lovely little marina. We came in with the wind blowing 25-30 kn IN the marina! The harbormaster was awesome - she came running down to help grab lines and secure the boat. Lovely little town with nice restaurants on the water. A wonderful stay.

Helpful line handling when we landed. Visited in a 35’ Jenneau, and we were able to snug right in.

The harbormasters were very friendly and helpful. Had a great meal on the water a stones throw from the slip and a coffee in the morning from Dunkin as well. The entrance to the harbor is a bit challenging on the way out, but just gun it to the bell buoy.

Mooring is a considerable distance from marina offices. Launch service referred to was $6/person per ride so for 2 of us to visit town and back was more expensive than other marinas offering launch service. Docks are very nice and recently upgraded. Pumpout pretty easy to handle although no hands were available when we came in. Town and stores very handy to marina but cost of launch deterred us from coming back and exploring. Would have paid $10-15 more for mooring if launch was included.

We requested help in docking and they were right there. Location of slip was excellent. First overnight trip my wife has gone on without kids and she had a great time. Wants to try it again. We’re both in our 70’s.

Harbormaster was VERY helpful and nice. Facilities are scarce. (Couldn’t find bathroom or trash). Floating docks are in good shape. I was on a mooring. Moorings are out near the entrance to the harbor. If you are on a ball, give them a call first, save yourself the trip into the harbor. (Which is very tight)

We ducked into Scituate because of weather and assumed that the mooring was in the inner harbor because that’s where the Marina renting the moorings is located. They assigned us a town mooring in the outer harbor that was pretty lumpy all night. If I had known I would have continued on to the next harbor.

Nice Marina, beautiful scenery and we were right in the downtown area and within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants.
I gave this a 4 because showers were $4.00. This was never mentioned when we arrived. There was also no WiFi. Those amenities would have added to the experience even if they were built into the price.

Nice quiet spot. Easy in and out from Boston or Cape Cod Canal. Great staff, very helpful. Great meal at Salt Society which is a very short walk. All the stores and restaurants within 1/4 mile. We will stop again.

Scituate is a lovely town. The mooring (pricey) was out by the lighthouse and easy to hook up. We also figured out that there's a pay-to-ride launch service (Easy Rider) which made everything easier once we got aboard.

The balls are located near the harbr entrance channel, so it can be a little bouncy with wakes and swell, and it's a long dinghy ride to the harbormaster's dock (launch service is not included in the mooring fee). That said, we had a great time walking around town. The grocery store is small but adequate and very convenient to the dinghy docks.

nice mooring with padded cylinder ball and new, well maintained pendants. Good dock facility with water accessible right there and a fuel dock also close by. The harbormaster's mooring where we stayed in the "outer" harbor by G7, not in the inner basin like you may think from the pictures. It was very windy but still generally flat and a nice place to sleep. They're figuring out launch service as well, but you can pretty much call any of the other launches and pay cash if you need. Or BYO dinghy.

The Scituate Harbormaster’s Office is staffed year round and is responsible for ensuring water safety; maritime law enforcement and the assignment of moorings and slips administered by the Town of Scituate, and are available to answer your needs.
PLEASE NOTE:
Seven days maximum per boating season, consecutive or individual. Reservations cannot be transferred to other vessels or other dates. The vessel on record must be the vessel in the slip or on the mooring.
The Scituate Harbormaster’s Office is staffed year round by three individuals. During the recreational boating season (May 15th – October 15th) the staff is augmented by an additional 30 Assistant Harbormasters. The Harbormaster and his Assistant Harbormasters are responsible for insuring water safety, maritime law enforcement and the assignment of moorings and slips administered by the Town of Scituate.
