For over 54 years, Oldport Marine has been serving Newport harbor with a variety of services. We offer moorings, launch service, private charters, harbor tours, Diesel engine repairs, Yanmar Diesel parts sales and service, towing, salvage, and more. With our ability to accommodate vessels up to 65', we're thrilled to be your host for your next stay in Newport. Upon arrival, contact us on VHF channel 68, and our dedicated team will be readily available to assist you. Launch service is not included in the cost of the mooring.

Located in the heart of downtown Newport, our moorings are just a short launch ride away from shops, hotels, restaurants, historical Fort Adams and many more sought-after attractions. Our top-notch launch drivers can drop you off within walking distance to all Newport has to offer. While staying with us, you can easily access downtown Newport, or sit back, relax and enjoy the activity of this bustling harbor.

• All moorings are set in their current positions at the direction of the Newport Harbormaster. On the occasion of shifting winds, storm conditions, and/or current and tide changes, vessels may swing and make contact, or mooring anchors may drag. Oldport Marine will not be held responsible for such collisions.
• Renter will be responsible for securing all roller reefing jibs before leaving vessel unattended. Renter will be responsible for insuring that chafing gear is properly located and secured. Oldport Marine does not assume care, custody, or control of Renter's boat or pennant.
• Oldport Marine is not responsible for damage caused by the Renter's Mooring Buoy or adjacent mooring buoys.
  
• Oldport Marine is not responsible for pennant failure due to chafing.
• It is understood that while Oldport Marine has made every effort to provide a safe mooring, there has been no warranty or representation by Oldport Marine of the fitness of the facilities for the use for which they were designed and intended. The Renter agrees that Oldport Marine is not responsible for any injury or damage, or loss of equipment, to the vessel, lessee or his guests, from whatever cause. The Renter further agrees to save harmless, protect, and indemnify Lessor from and against any and all loss, costs, damage, claims suits, actions at law and judgments, including attorney’s fees, which may arise or grow out of any injury to, or death of, person, damages to property, any other matter or thing, caused by acts of God, fire, windstorm, explosion, flood, burglary, theft, or by any other casualty. Oldport Marine reserves the right at any point to terminate Renter's stay.​​ ​ In the event of storm watches or warnings issued by the National Weather Service with conditions of sustained winds of 50 MPH or higher in Narragansett Bay, Oldport Marine requires owners to remove their vessels from moorings. Our moorings will accommodate up to 65' vessels. Vessels over 65' must call the Newport Harbormaster on VHF ch 16 for mooring rentals.

Launch service is not included in the transient mooring fee. The launch fare is $5 per person each way Seasonal Launch Pass: $900 for private vessels We cannot accommodate catamarans over 45 feet in length. Mooring assignments are subject to change.

All mooring assignments are designated within the boundaries of Newport Harbor. Specific mooring locations are subject to availability and vessel requirements; as such, assignments may not necessarily be immediately adjacent to downtown.
