Always one of my favorite stops. It’s so beautiful and charming. Always enjoy the sculpture garden. No matter how many times I go I see more sculptures I missed on the last visit.
Wish they would get rid of the coin operated showers. Free would be great. Just raise the moorage by $.50 a day. Or if that’s impossible, point of sale interface that you can tap with your phone.

We love Roche Harbor. The staff, store, restaurants, laundry and grounds have all been great. During our last visit (September 2024) the shower situation was abysmal. I tried four separate showers and three were not functioning properly. It’s disappointing to walk up and pay for a shower and have them not work as you’d expect. I’m sharing with the hope that the situation can be remedied, which will raise my rating.

Great weather ,the food and beverages at the marina were excellent.Went on the hiking trails by the airport, excellent. Hike the trail along the airport runway to the main trails to avoid the highway traffic. Very helpful courteous help on the docks.

We were at nine different marinas in the islands this month, both in the US and Canada. Roche is absolutely the finest, best managed facility with the best amenities of all. "Colors" is always a highlight, and every marina should have a Phecap Phreak! Kudos to the excellent management and staff. Incidentally, they have the very best folks on VHF when we're coming in, quickly responsive and clear, concise instructions to find your slip.

Roche Harbor is an extraordinary place with excellent staff and facilities. Looking forward to returning. This was our 31st wedding anniversary and we were at Roche together on a boat while dating 32 years ago at about the same time. A great place to come to celebrate

Very pleasant marina. Staff were on hand to catch our lines and we very much enjoyed lunch at the Madrona Bar & Grill. I was very moved by the Colors ceremony at sunset. Highly recommend.

Roche Harbor is such a beautiful place to visit. We extended our stay because we were having such a great time. The staff are so helpful and friendly whether they are helping you dock, delivering a bbq, or even pumping your septic. The grounds are beautiful and the amenities and shops are wonderful. Great trails to walk and a fun pool for the families. We will be back again!

Roche Harbor is a favorite. I've been visiting the resort for 50 years, by land and by boat. This Summer's visit was no exception. The staff was great, the moorage wonderful and as always we enjoyed Colors. My only comment would be that I was disappointed that there were two boats displaying political banners (large and multiple) on the visitors dock. I was on vacation partly to get away from that and had to pass them each time down the dock. Would have loved for that to not have been the case. Please consider some rules around that issue.

Called in about 3 minutes prior to arrival. They quickly replied and assigned me a slip for the evening. As I arrived at my assigned slip there were 3 dock crew to greet us and to receive lines. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Marina had BBQ’s and smokers available for guests to use. If I was to say one negative thing would be the moorage rate at $3.00 ft and they do not offer a military/veterans or First Responders discount. Will definitely be back.

Roche Harbor is amazing -- from our first radio in, we were greeted at our slip, got a free pump out, walked around the village and drove around the marina. It has everything and feels like the place you envisioned when you bought a boat. the help was amazing, super friendly young adults.
they loan BBQs, hoses, shore power cords - it's the best
the bathrooms got pretty beat up after a morning, so i hope they can improve housekeeping.
quarters for showers, not my favorite "feature," but not a deal breaker, i suppose.

Roche Harbor offers five decades of fun and friendly boating traditions in the San Juan Islands. We start every stay with a dock-side greeting and tie-up, and offer information on the resort so you can enjoy amenities like complimentary wifi, off-leash dog park, and outdoor pool. Our 377 slips are available year-round or nightly and fit vessels up to 150′, making it a must-stop destination on any cruise in the Salish Sea.

PLEASE BE ADVISED : Even if reservations are full and the calendar is blocked, we will still have slips available on a first-come-first-served basis. We will have an in-harbor waitlist, beginning at 8:30 am each day. Must be in the harbor and call in on VHF channel 78a to get added to the list.
