Staff and location are excellent. The constant rocking and rolling from river traffic was pretty awful. I felt like I was in a washing machine. Was here last year and didn't seem quite this bad. Dock location?

Our favorite marina. Endless choices of fine restaurants within walking distance. John and staff are very professional and helpful.

We had an amazing stay! Cara and John and staff were so accommodating and friendly. The upgrades to this marina were so evident as we have stayed here often over the years. A new restaurant that sits right over the water, beautiful new and very clean bathrooms and shower facilities, along with a really cool waterfront clubhouse for the guests. We always have loved it here, but we love it here more now. Great Job team!

Very professional staff. Super helpful. Several nice improvements since I was here three years ago. The new ownership is doing a great job!

You can't beat this location for the view of the New York skyline and proximity to world class dining in Brooklyn but the price is much too high. We paid $370 for a 37-foot sailing boat for one night. The marina is modern with good facilities and helpful staff but fairly empty. Reduce the cost and I will happily come back often.

This is a great base for exploring Brooklyn. John and his team were excellent. Clear docking instructions and someone cheerfully there to get you tied up.

Great experience, Dock master and his staff were super helpful and welcoming, during the night the water was very calmed and the bathroom is simple but very complete and clean. I’ll stay there at every opportunity, highly recommend!

Great communication from the Dockmaster and very knowledgeable and helpful dockhand got us where we needed to be late in the day. There is motion from ferries, but it wasn’t unpleasant especially when it was time to sleep. It’s a vibrant area and there is plenty to see right from your boat. Clean bathrooms, but a long walk to the showers. Definitely recommend this place.

I clicked on awesome above, but don't see 5 stars displaying... That said, it was an awesome experience with very helpful staff, willl be back.

Marina staff was courteous and met us at the dock. Docks and bathrooms were new, clean and air conditioned. Location was amazing, not just for the views of New York City but because it’s located right next to a beautiful park in Brooklyn! This will be our first choice when going up the East River!

We stayed at Brooklyn Bridge Marina for two nights and appreciated its outstanding location. Being within walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge and many nearby attractions made exploring the area incredibly convenient. One point worth noting is that the marina is exposed to significant vessel traffic. Frequent ferry traffic creates substantial wake, which made docking more challenging and caused our boat to rock considerably throughout our stay. While this is largely a result of the marina's location rather than its management, it is something transient boaters may want to keep in mind, especially if they prefer a calmer berth.

Pricey, nice. For the money the facilities could have been better. Had a magnificent view of NYC skyline until a megayacht showed up. Surprisingly rolly at night. You feel the ferries, etc coming by.

What we loved… We were right in the heart of Brooklyn, walking distance to shops, bars, parks and restaurants. The whole waterfront had a great vibe, a diverse community and fabulous views of manhattan. What we did not like… Entering the Marina was tough, especially when the tide was running hard. This was exacerbated by two large concrete floating docks facing the entry. New cruisers should be adequately informed and prepared for the entry.

This was a one night stop over and booked on short notice. Will the Dock master was very accommodating. Things are very expensive in NYC and this marina isn’t an exception :-) ouch. But, your right in Brooklyn. My reason for the one star ding is the marina has a surge, not bad and it settles at night, but it’s there. And really there aren’t 5 star facilities there yet.

Great access to the city and the Manhattan views are spectacular. Very rough though until 9pm starting from about 7 in the morning. Amenities are getting better but at the moment still rough. The dock crew was great and they were happy to help in any way possible.

It sucked. Price was $750 for one night and waves were horrible, Don’t know how arrogant hedge fund thinks they can raise rates by 50% and keep customers. I saw three transients in entire marina and my boat was damaged against dock in spite of diligent tie up. Very empty and it should be.

Great marina with a wonderful location. We always enjoy our stays. Additionally it’s appreciated that there is even g and early morning coverage. So much easier with help to release lines.

Location in Brooklyn Heights near lots of restaurants, stores, bars, etc., is extraordinary. Waterfront is well developed and beautiful. Great marina. Nice staff. But be aware: The wakes caused by heavy commercial ferry traffic in NY Harbor are large bordering on severe. So, double up the dock lines on your boat and be ready for lots of rolling until after 10pm.

Although a bit bumpy at times due to marine traffic, it was comfortable. Marina manager John and night dockmaster Ian were amazing. They stayed late to help us tie up and were very courteous and helpful…they were absolutely awesome.. we look forward to the next time!
