Marina didn't confirm reservation until mid afternoon on the day I was to arrive, therefore I wasn't able to plan accordingly and didn't end up using the dock slip I paid for. Also, since the confirmation was granted so late, I was unable to cancel in a timely manner and now I'm out money.

The staff was quick and friendly. Check-in for our slip only took a couple of minutes and they double-checked to make sure the slip was empty.

Registering for the boat slip was easy and the response was prompt. The staff at the boat slip was nice and seemed to try to do what they could to accommodate. I was given a slip number and went to check out the slip and there was a boat in the slip. I was told to use the next slip. Because of weather I did not put the boat in the water until the next morning. Upon arrival there was another boat in the slip assigned the day before. I was told to use the one next to it. After being out on the lake all day we returned again to find the slip assigned occupied and was told to use any open slip. This was quite annoying and leads me to believe your system does not work too well. I am glad I did not leave any dock lines or bumpers who know where they would have ended up.

Great marina in it's simplistic form. Be prepared because this marina is small and very laid back compared to other marinas I've docked at. However, if you need something, the staff is very nice and ready to help!

Was given three different dock slip locations, due to other people not following their assignment. They worked it out, but more accountability on customers to do what their told would make the process easier for everyone.
About Raccoon Lake Boat Rental
Check-in is at 10 am and check-out is by 10 am the following day.
Dock slips are located at the boat rental inside of the park next to the beach.
We are unable to do seasonal dock slip rentals - customers are only allowed to stay a maximum of 14 consecutive nights.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy Vessels Under 70' Payment for first night of dockage is required to book a reservation 72 Hour Cancellation Policy • Any cancellation outside of 72 hours prior to arrival will receive full deposit refund • Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival will result in a full deposit forfeiture Vessels Over 70' 100% Deposit is required to book reservation 72 Hour Cancellation Policy • Any cancellation outside of 72 hours prior to arrival will receive full deposit refund • Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival date will receive a 50% refund • Cancellations made on same day as scheduled arrival date will result in full deposit forfeiture
