Another delightful stay at SH Essex Island, my overnight GoTo marina when I want to getaway for a change in venue. The setting, facilities and service are fantastic. The views of Essex and the Connecticut River are gorgeous. Numerous nice restaurants in easy walking distance. Shower rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff are pleasant and responsive. The only negative are the swarms of “no see-ums”. At least they don’t bite. Highly recommended cruising destination.

Great location, a real "resort" feel!
Henry and staff are always very helpful - the restaurant on the island is terrific, the town is always fun with more great choices. We come back every year!

Essex Island Marina remains one of our favorite destinations for early and late season trips. It is a perfect venue to host family gatherings with the boat as home base.

Dock hand was helpful and courteous. Great marina and fun town to explore. Enjoyed dinner at the Griswold Inn.

Safe Harbor Essex Island Marina is my favorite place. The management takes care of every detail possible. Beautiful flowers everywhere. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are always clean. I feel it's the crown jewel of Safe Harbor. Sirens is awesome too. Won’t disappoint.

Safe Harbor Essex Island is one of our favorite stops. Immaculate- beautiful pool and the little water shuttle to town is a plus! The town has so much New England character- thanks for another lovely stay

One of our favorite destinations. Henry the dock master does a good job. The ground ate nice, staff is friendly and the restaurant (Siren) is very good. Looking forward to coming back.
The only issue was that my slip was given away after taking a ride in Saturday up the river.
