It’s a four because it’s a very reasonable price. Place needs a little TLC and some finger piers. I don’t think during the season I could have docked and been able to get on/off the boat. Luckily they said put it anywhere you see an opening and I found maybe the only slip with a finger pier. Nice folks, okay restaurant and pub and an easy walk to town.
This place far exceeded my expectations. Great friendly staff and the grounds were awesome. We will definitely come back many more times.
A sweet low key marina! Great stay, will return!
The place is comfortable, albeit slightly run down, but those of us that come here often know what to expect. The only problem/annoyance were the large tented parties in front of the pool, which also left a lot of trash and dirty crowded bathrooms and made it a bit awkward to get to the pool.
For the Cruising Yachtsman, Townsend Manor has one of the finest marinas in Eastern Long Island. Nestled in the protected waters of the secluded Stirling Basin, yet just a short walk from Greenport's stores and activities, are deep water slips for transient yachts up to 60 feet and complete resort facilities for living aboard or ashore.
