First time at this marina. We had great help from the staff on getting our boat tied up. Excellent wifi, which is rare with many marinas. There was a chance of high winds and dockmaster came by to check our boat and tie up addl. lines. Depth can be a slight problem. We draw 5’ and some areas only a little over 6’.

Capt Dee was great. Guided us in and helped us dock. Came back in the morning to help us cast off to catch the bridge

Had a nice stay. James was very helpful. Easy in and out.

We received more advance info than any other marina ever! It was complete with a map of the approach. Dee single-handedly ties us up safely and provides great area info. Facilities aren’t great but the dock and the service was fantastic

We pulled into Topsail Island late on Sunday afternoon. No one came up on the radio so I phoned the marina and got Captain James at his house. He said there was no one working at the marina but he gave me detailed instructions on how to navigate the entrance channel, which wasn't difficult. He also said to pick any open slip, which I did. It's not a big place - I'd estimate there are 20 or 25 slips, all floating docks that look new. Another transient boater helped us tie up, and water & electric were obvious, so no problem there. The only problem was that we never did see anyone who worked for Topsail Island Marina, and we didn't know where the bath house or trash bins were...and we never did find them. The Wifi didn't work, but Captain James told me it's because the cable was cut at the road, where there was construction. Entrance and departure were easy, although if you're southbound you have to leave just before the top of the hour, because the marina is right next to the swing bridge and it only opens on the hour. I would stay in this well maintained, totally protected little marina, but I'd be more careful to ask for details as to the amenities.

No service at all. Restroom dirty and a lot of boxes in the way. No laundry at all .

We stayed here after being informed by the owner that the marina was basically closed and unmanned at the time. The location and dock were very convenient. We were ok with the lack of facilities but the room where the showers were located was full of furniture from the restaurant tenant in the front of the buiding. The restroom facilities are the same as for the restaurant but they were clean. Overall our experience was fine based on the owner letting us know the situation but the $78.00 rate was on the high end of what we paid during our 8 day trip down the ICW for our 37' boat. It was the only booking through DockWa and maybe the rate is higher because of that.

The dock was good. Entry and exit was fine. They are in "transition". No Wi-Fi, No fuel dock, nobody to meet us, no pump-out. Laundry and bathroom facilities were listed but are part of the Yacht Club and we were told they were not available for transients. There were 50 amp connectors, but only one leg worked, so had to use two 30 amp outlets. The night wasn't bad and there are some good restaurants along the beach nearby. If you are pretty self sufficient, it's an OK place, but expensive given what you get.
