It was a great stay. Reagan took great care of us. Everyone was so friendly. It's a great place to visit in Solomons.

Great little marina with excellent views. Easy in and out. The staff is super friendly with a deck hand waiting for us when we arrived. The restaurant in the club is a fun environment and they pride themselves on being the friendliest place on the Bay!

Very friendly marina. We were greeted with such a warm welcome and everyone made an effort to say hello. Our dogs were welcomed as well. There's a small lawn grassy area for dogs but we took our girls to do their #2 business on the grass along the boardwalk. And we always pick up after our dogs!
The marina offers dinner a few nights per week for a fee and we ate there once - that night, we had sliders, salad, fries and onion rings. And dessert!
We are members of the MTOA so they recognized our membership in order to stay here.
Close to everything too!

Very welcoming and a quick one night stop for our second visit here. Grocery store is a bike ride away, but most everything else is within walking distance.

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The location is great and the bathrooms, docks, and bar area were well maintained and super clean. We will be back!

A very welcoming club. Steve was waiting for us on the dock and we enjoyed a refreshment (and the a/c) in the clubhouse. We hope to stop over again!

Loved the quaint area and super friendly people! SO many restaurants within a short walking distance (the whole town smelled like a seafood platter) ….i would move to this little piece of heaven!!

What an awesome place and a great welcome. We were glad to share the dock with such good folks. Everything is in good shape and even a free washer and dryer. And, of course, a free drink at the Club!

Couldn’t have been more welcoming! From Steve catching our lines, to Maureen pouring drinks, to the Commodore inviting us to dinner. Definitely worth the stop! …. And the facilities were nice!

SIYC is one of the best places to stay on the Chesapeake Bay, The volunteer members greet you and help you get into your slip, tied up and electric hooked-up. They then leave you with 2 free drink coupons.
In addition, we were mistakenly put in a slip with no 50 amp service, but they provided us a splitter before I could retrieve our own. Two restaurants are within easy walking distance, as are other amenities. We have stayed there 3 times and will be back.

Very friendly yacht club were welcomed by all and treated like family , food served Thursday, Fri ,Sat and very reasonable . Drinks some of the cheapest on the loop . Marine museum worth the visit .

A great place to stay. Everyone at the yacht club was so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay again in the future. It is close to many good restaurants and the Maritime museum is within walking distance as well.

About Solomons Island Yacht Club
Solomons Island Yacht Club (SIYC) is a PRIVATE Club. To request a reservation, you must be a member of the following: a reciprocating yacht club as listed in the Registry of American Yacht Clubs; or as a member of a yacht club listed in the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club Association (CBYCA); or a member of the America’s Great Loop Cruising Association (AGLCA); or, a member of the Marine Trawler’s Owner Association (MTOA).
Please indicate in the notes section your membership in a reciprocating yacht club, CBYCA, AGLCA or MTOA for slip availability. If you do not list your membership, your request will be DECLINED.
Food service is offered Wednesday through Saturday. Some Wednesday night dinners and all Saturday night dinners require reservations. Your duty dock master can assist you with sign up for these meals. On Thursday and Friday night’s ‘pub food’ is offered with usually three entrees to select from. In addition, there are many good restaurants within walking distance of SIYC.
If time is available during your stay, we encourage you to visit the Calvert Marine Museum and the Drum Point Screwpile Lighthouse on display there. There is a West Marine at Solomons just past the Museum and if you need groceries there is Uber service to get you there and back.
