Prompt, courteous and helpful.

Well maintained, well spaced moorings with substantial pendants.

Two dollars a foot for Sag Harbor seems like a good deal in this area. Launch runs from 9am to 9pm $5 each way. Some anchoring availability, but lots of mooring balls. Dingy dock located at the town dock. Short walk to restaurants and a grocery store.

Great destination. Beautiful views. Love Il Cappuccino. Got lucky and saw the carnival and fireworks show put on by the Fire Dept. The launch Capt is the best!

A wonderful 2 nights spent on a mooring at Sag Harbor. Busy during the day but all respectful of speed/wake limits, and it all quieted down at night. Great town for walking. Make reservations well in advance if you wish go out to dinner.
by oseadmainship on Jul 23, 2021
Although it stated no wake zone in the mooring, few boaters followed that rule. It was very rocky. Very busy, congested area with resteraunts and shops. Not a dog friendly area at all.

Great option in Sag Harbor.
by mainmenu on Jun 28, 2021
Staff super nice. Very protected (inside breakwater), very close to shore, shops, grocery and restos. Downside there are no shoreside amenities (showers, restrooms, wi-fi).

We never made it there due to engine failure BUT they called us and were willing to push up the stay from fri/sat night to sat/sun night. We couldn’t take advantage of that but it was really nice that they offered. They get an A+ for trying to accommodate us!

Very convenient mooring, inside breakwater.

Mooring was excellent - great restaurant Lulu. Only down side was the unexpected cost of the launch - although service was good.

Great destination. Comfortable mooring field. Great launch service, but may slow during busy summer weekends.

Moorings are heavy to grab but everything else was great. Sag Harbor is a wonderful place to visit.

A great place to stay. While being near the channel during made it a bit bumpy, the parade of boats was remarkable.

Stayed outside breakwater and mooring field was generous in terms of swing room. Easy launch ride in. Enjoyed the stay. Will be back again.

Sag Hbr. is a place to relax and watch how the other half lives. Certainly there are everyday folks, but the yachts in the harbor, at the piers, and outside the breakwater are so varied, and interesting. Maybe even over the top! But never do you not see a breathtaking classic yacht. The mooring was fine had two hawsers to keep the boat into the wind., and an easy pickup. Having a smaller boat we always get a spot inside the breakwater, a good place in any direction or velocity of wind.
On shore the walking is great. The museums, churches, even the beautiful library are just a pleasure to visit. The town does a great job of keeping the streets clean, and there are plenty of sidewalk benches to sit down while my wife drops into a few shops. The traffic flow in the center of town is entertaining to watch.
I am confused between what appears to be the Sag Harbor Launch, Mooring, and Marine Services, and what I also think are moorings and docks provided by the Harbor Master. Anyway, I'll figure it out someday. We always make Sag a destination each season.

There are no shortage of places you can go, and people you can deal with when it comes to your boat. There is however a great deficit of good, reliable, business worthy people out there. The Sag Harbor Launch service is top notch across the board. I would invite you to attempt to find better, because I know you will not. My family and I have been entrusting our boats to Ken for over a decade. Nothing but the best here.
