We had a great experience with Sag Harbor Launch & Moorings. The only minor issue was that it took a little while to reach someone on VHF Channel 73 to receive our mooring assignment. Once we made contact, everything went smoothly. The launch pickup was quick, and the return service was immediate. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we would definitely use their service again.

These moorings are in the highest-traffic part of the harbor. CONSTANT parade of rude waking boats in the no wake zone. Never again.
The launch operator was great.

Overall very good. Just one hiccup as they first put us on C40 - a small mooring on west side of channel open to harbor, even though we asked for east side behind breakwater. We asked to move and they let us move.

They were very accommodating. We had some kids with us that have never slept on a boat so I was worried about that Mooring on the outside of the brake wall.. It wasn’t too bad once the boats calmed down, but they text me and said a spot opened up inside. so we moved in very easily and we were able to cut right through the separation in the brake wall. I had about 3 feet of water under the boat still. And once we were inside the break wall, it was nice and calm. They had good showers and bathrooms, unsure that you can access with the code. Would definitely need to hear on our return visit.

Easiest mooring set up for two person crew. Nice long grab with a loop, new and thick mooring lines…slept well without worrying about mooring equipment

This was our first visit to Sag Harbor and we loved it. Ken and his crew were very helpful and even let us move to a more protected mooring when the wind piped up from the South. I saw some other reviews complaining about wakes, but no issues inside the breakwater. Sag Harbor is great with a full service local grocery store a couple blocks up Main St from Long Wharf. Other nearby services: hardware store, laundry, pharmacy and liquor store all within a few blocks. Many great restaurants too. We'll be back!!

We have a new favorite spot. The process was so easy. I put in request for a mooring ball and heard back right away. Great communication from Kenny. We call them for a ride back to the boat they picked us up right away. Super friendly and very professional. See you soon

About Sag Harbor Launch, Moorings & Services
Sag Harbor is a location second to none. Only a 30 mile ride from Block Island and 20 miles from New London, boaters can easily access destinations in Long Island and Block Island sounds.
There is no shortage of things to do while visiting Sag Harbor. Check out our beautiful beaches, grab a bite downtown, or stop in at The Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum. Come experience why Sag Harbor is one of the most desirable boating destinations in the northeast.
We offer transient mooring reservations inside the break wall for boats up to 50ft and in the Outer mooring field for boats 50 to 150ft in length. Additionally there are moorings available on a first come first serve basis. Please contact the Sag Harbor Launch on channel 73 when entering the harbor.
