Friendly staff, clean facilities . And quiet

Nice marina, staff was friendly. Pretty quiet during the last week of August as kids headed back to school in CT. Felt safe and facilities were decent.

Staff was great helping me dock. We had an exceptionally windy day and my kids are still a little young to be deck hands but MSW’s staff were super professional and helpful. Great family owned and ran business. We’ll be back!

Great visit. Nice facilities in this working shipyard. Easy 0.7 mile walk into town. Very helpful dockmaster (Nick) on arrival. Would definitely return here.

First-rate staff, to go along with a great docking area. Only one washer and dryer, but the showers have benches and hooks. Just a quick dingy trip from our dock into town. Will be back.

Great place, great staff. Kudos to Nick very helpful throughout our stay. Grounds were kept neat and clean. Bathrooms are clean but could use an update. Looking forward to going back!!

Wonderful marina, close to Mystic Downtown. The staff are extremely nice and are responsive to booking requests. Booked it again for next week. Would love to make it our home marina one day.

The shipyard is a great place to stay, the dock hands were great in helping us. And the town is in walking distance!

Great location. Easy access on south dock. Dockhand “”Kenny” was great meeting us at slip and getting us tied up. Lines already on outer piling made it simple. Facilities clean. Will be back

Nice place, neat town. Helpful staff

I booked a transient slip for the night. When we arrive the assigned slip had 20 knot winds accompanied by 1+ knot current both blowing directly on the slip. The was no safe way to enter the slip without endangering my crew. I have 50 years boating experience and am presently an active USCG 100 Ton Master. The marina has so far refused to refund the fee for the slip.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms and showers immaculate. The pool was lovely. The slips are to fixed piers and pilings, means you have to adjust lines a bit with the changing tide, but not a big problem. Unfortunately, although still advertised, there were no kayaks or paddleboards. Also, the addition of a snack bar would have made it a 5 star facility. But on the whole the stay there was very pleasant, the walk into Mystic not overlong. We would stay there again.

This marina and boatyard are a bit outside of the main part of town but within walking distance or a quick dinghy ride. The docks are in good condition as were the showers and restrooms and laundry facility. There is only one washer and one dryer and no place to sit and wait for loads to be finished inside (There are benches outside.), which was a bit of a problem in rainy weather. The pool was nice on a hot day in June. There are grills and picnic tables along the waterfront. The amenities are very nice, but the facility is a shipyard first and a marina second, so the outside areas are also driving/parking/work areas. There is no boaters' lounge.

Very helpful staff especially with tying up to a fixed dock. Pool was super nice by the the river and there was a great market with in walking distance call the mystic market. Quick dinghy ride into town. Bathrooms were clean. My boat likes power and requires a buck booster to run the climate side for anything under about 217 amps….Same issue as my home marine but did not bring my booster unfortunately

Nice location allows for an easy walk or dinghy ride into town. Fixed docks, not floaters, but Kenny was as helpful and talented a dock hand as you'll find anywhere. We look forward to a return visit.

Mystic Shipyard is a beautiful marina. The dock staff are friendly and helpful. It is about one mile to walk to town, which is lovely with lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy.

We had a great stay! Had a problem with one of our engines, and Mystic Shipyard got us right in the schedule to diagnose and help us out quickly! The staff checked on the boats frequently during tropical storm Elsa. We will definitely return!

Fine facility! Okay location. A bit of difficulty establishing initial contact by VHF and/or telephone at 11:00 am on a July Tuesday.

Nice marina. Dockmates were helpful. Clean facilities. One mile walk to town. Wifi a little sketchy. Docking tough with the fixed piers but had help. Will return. Recommend.

Great location Close to town and a nice place to walk around. The stationary docks were a little challenging but the view from our bridge makes it worth it. We'll be back!

Dock staff very helpful and friendly. Helped with docking, setting up electrical hookup & telling us about nearby places to eat. Showers & restrooms are clean and maintained. Pool has no lifeguard and children do tend to hog it as several were there with no adult supervision- that is not the fault of the marina! I blame this on lazy parents

Nice Marina. Bathrooms were clean. Had BBQ’s and picnic tables. Everyone was super nice. Town was a mile walk. You could not ask for more. Definitely on the list for next year.

We were particularly impressed with the pool and quiet serenity of this marina. It appears that most of the boats at the marina are permanent slip holders as opposed to us being transient guests. The people we met at the marina were very friendly and helpful!

Nice facilities. Close to town and restaurants. Complimentary use of a kayak or SUP. We had a nice visit and will go back. My only criticism is that the use of the pool by children should require adult supervision. When several adults entered the pool area to use the pool it was monopolized by four unsupervised children who were playing a game in the pool that involved throwing a tennis ball. Several times, any adult that ventured into the pool was nearly hit with the ball. I know this was not a problem with the Shipyard - it was a problem with the irresponsible parent who was using the pool to babysit their children.

Tim who helped us get tied up was extremely helpful and stayed with us until we were fully connected and had all of our arrival information. The marina staff went out of their way to pick up parts so that we could make a repair. We will definitely return!

Staff was very nice. Not happy with marina not being dog friendly. Signs everywhere saying dog off grass and dog run was small and no grass. Dog owners beware.

Very courteous helpful dock hands. Ice freezer wasn't working properly. Ice was soft and melted fast. Nicely maintained grounds.
