Challenging. I told them I would be arriving at 6 pm. They never told me that they would be closed. I tied up at the fuel dock which only had 3 phase electricity which is not compatible with my isolation transformer. The 2 people in the morning could not have been nicer, but I would have appreciated knowing about their power supply before arriving and been informed that they would be closed. I was told in the morning that they had assigned a slip to me but I had no idea. They should have informed me of the slip number and told me that they would be closed.

Surprise! No slip, we had to tie up at the fuel dock. Price of fuel was good. Office lady nice and gave us good restaurant rec. But, pretty bummed about slip situation.

Unlike previous stays service was off. Dockhand was by herself trying to handle lines, do the fiddling of another vessel, help me with power and water. It took over an hour to get settled. Not the individuals fault just understaffed. Then when departing. No one answering the radio, no one around. Very different from all prior experiences

The marina has recognized the issue with a transient taking our slip and causing some inconvenience for us and credited us 50% which was much appreciated.

Hi Brian, after reviewing our camera footage, we discovered that the random vessel named the "Lady Di" was docked without permission and essentially stole your transient dock space and left without even paying himself. We would not have known someone was going to dock there after we closed. As far as we can tell, there was no attempt to call our emergency number or message us through Dockwa on your part. As a gesture of goodwill, we are giving you 50% off your stay anyway. Excellent .all worked out . Friendly and helpful staff .
The only issue is when they allow someone to come in after hours , they should remind them to pick an edge and not park in the middle of the fuel dock unless they are leaving before the fuel dock opens the next morning . It was my fault of not taking care of business when I arrived and waiting until the next morning .

Friendly docking help. Nice floating fuel dock. 50 amp power pedestal breaker is loose and difficult to cycle.

About Cape Marina
Cape Marina is a second and third-generation, family-owned marina located in Port Canaveral. For 50 years, we have operated as a working waterfront facility, serving both recreational and commercial boaters with direct access to the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
We offer 115 four-pole fixed wet slips accommodating vessels from 15 to 65 feet in length. We also provide Floating Dock transient dockage for vessels up to 120 feet and beyond, with 24-hour access and quick departure to open water.
In addition to wet slips, we provide: • Indoor and outdoor dry storage • Seven-day in-and-out rack service • A working DIY yard for owner-performed maintenance and projects
Amenities include: • Clean, modern restrooms and showers • Washers and dryers • Gas and diesel fuel pumps • High-speed diesel fueling
Dockwa is used primarily for Floating Dock reservations. Our four-pole fixed slips are generally for long-term slip customers and are typically not available for transient use, though we make every effort to accommodate requests when space permits or during special events.
Transient Dockage rates are market-based and may vary depending on vessel size, seasonality, demand, occupancy, and operational conditions. The minimum per foot rate is $3.80. All rates are subject to change and are confirmed at the time of booking or agreement. Fuel prices listed are cash prices. The posted diesel fuel price does not include applicable tax.
Cape Marina operates under a ground lease within Port Canaveral. The current lease term is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2026, and the Canaveral Port Authority has indicated it does not intend to renew the lease beyond that date. As a result, our family business is presently expected to conclude on or before that date. Until then, we continue to operate normally and remain committed to serving the boating community.
Booking Info
Once we confirm your reservation, please watch out for your welcome email containing your Float assignment, dockage map, and Entry PIN for gate access.
Employees are instructed to only give out assignments over the phone if they are already assigned in the Dockwa system. Assignments are subject to change with notice through the Dockwa Messaging system, and special requests for specific dockage areas must be made in the special request section during a Dockwa Reservation request and are subject to availability.
Transient Dockage guests must provide valid state registration or documentation and proof of insurance through Dockwa or in person upon arrival:
30/50 AMP service is available. We do not have 100AMP receptacles. At select locations, two 50AMP receptacles can be combined into 100AMP (we do not provide any adapters).
Our Fuel Dock closes 30 minutes before the end of business hours.
