Shagwong Marina— Southampton

Great stay. Super helpful dock hands. Will stay again in the future.

Perfectly pleasant Marina and staff, but the fees are not consistent with the amenities. It’s a fisherman’s Marina. There are only mobile bathrooms which are quite unclean. The gas dock attendants were helpful and friendly , available for assistance in and out since it’s all fixed pier docks. I’ve been there twice in the last several years and not much has changed since 2018. Hopefully the new owners will take advantage of this great location and provide the necessary renovations.

Aweful. Very disappointing. Dockhand was unhelpful and unresponsive. Assigned slip was too shallow so we were grounded half the time there and had to leave at 5:30 to avoid being grounded again. Paid for 30 amp power but no outlet was available. Will never go back!

Reserved slip was too small and very difficult to manage because of wind and current. On a positive note the staff was very helpful and friendly. They found us a more suitable slip. Be prepared for strong current in slips.

Socks are not labeled and also in rough shape! Not worth the price!

Great location, beautiful views and nice staff. Docks do not float, so it can be a little difficult to get on the boat during low tide, but overall a wonderful place to stay.

Steering broke down on our ketch off LI. Prime Marina took us in, hauled us and helped fix the problem quickly. Can't say enough about Rob, Frank and the whole crew there. If they see this, thanks again!

Loved the experience and location. Nicest bathroom and showers we have seen. Little store had a nice breakfast and very nice area to sit and eat overlooking the water. Marina was VERY clean. Docks need some work but I believe the new owners are working hard to put money back into the property. There was some confusion when I arrived with a slip that was to small but I think it was just a mistake and was corrected quickly. Unfortunately the WiFi did not reach to the slip I was staying at and that should be corrected as soon as possible. Gas dock was super convenient and very fair diesel prices. We look forward to returning!

They were very helpful in spite of the pandemic issues. Great marina. I will be back next year!

From first contact the staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. Upon arrival and slip assignment I explained I was single screw and single handed and requested the T head of dock, "No Problem" was the reply. The ship's store was well stocked and the showers/ head were very clean. The big plus was my neighbors across the dock.

Nice enough group, the stay was about average. Keep in mind that if you plan to arrive on a weekend and want your boat dropped in check with the marina. In my case there was no one to run the travel life or forklift on the weekend. I'm not to particular but they did sick me on the end of a floating dock and had to move the my boat towards the end of my stay, apparently I was in someones slip that came back early. I did decide to leave early and the were kind enough to haul my boat on Friday at 4:00 PM. Knowing what I know the layout I would stay again, but I would confirm what slip I was in and plan my trip monday to monday. Thanks Prime
