Waited out a storm here before heading up the Chesapeake Bay. The marina staff was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We were placed on a floating dock with easy on and off. The marina bathrooms, showers and laundry were all clean and in great condition.
Although we stayed in Norfolk before, the city of Portsmouth is SO much more charming!! There are walkable historic neighborhoods -- the architectural details on these homes! -- and there are plenty of restaurants and gift shops.

We are local but our creek has limited water and so whenever we have to be somewhere and the tide is going to be low we like to stay with you guys. I cringed at the cost for one night. We are a 30 foot sailboat; not a yacht. I’m retired and on disability; anchoring is an alternative but unsafe for my handicap. I just want to ask if there’s any possible discounts you might offer for us locals trying to participate in local events. Btw I appreciate your help always and your crew is tops! Great visit. Easy on to a floating dock. Good help with lines. WiFi service was consistent with a good signal. Good parking for guests visiting.

Un bel endroit, bien protégé des vagues. 2 dames nous attendaient pour nous aider au quai. Elles étaient très gentilles et accueillantes!. Belle vue du restaurant de la marina, et on y mange très bien. Nous avons adoré notre sséjour. Je recommande fortement.

They were excellent. We called and inquired about a slip and we received a very quick response and then excellent guidance to our slip. Once docked they were very informative and helpful. The staff took the time to explain not only the marina but also the town. We we were scheduled to leave, we left but the bridge did not open again and they said just to come back and dock where you were previously docked. Friendly, professional, accommodating ,great staff and excellent facilities.

Great staff and location. The bathroom and laundry facilites are clean and modern. Fresh cookies and coffee are a bonus I gladly accepted. Would be great if they offered off season or weekly rate discounts but no compliants.

Very nice floating docks! The laundry facilities were very clean, and it was nice that they had 3 washers and 3 dryers. The view across the Elizabeth River was also beautiful at night.

Marina remained open past4:30 to allow for refueling and allowed us to remain at the fuel dock overnight. The staff were really nice

Super nice marina. Rick Monday the dock master was great. He drove us and our provisioning down the dock in his golf cart. They recommended Grizzard Repair service who did a first class job replacing a cooling pump on one of our engines.

Great staff and perfect location to get half way through Norfolk. Southbound, 45 min to RR#7 bridge and ~1hr 15min to the lock.
