This was such a cool marina, had a great time! Mary met us on the dock, helped us tie off, what a friendly and helpful person, awesome first impression!! Huge marina on 20 acres but actually easy to get around. Loved the laid-back, country vibe, this place is definitely a wonderful memory along our journey. There are several bathhouses on the property, all very clean and quick with hot water (appreciate the blow dryers too). Laundry was spotlessly clean (and free) And love the pool! It’s partially under the sprawling trees and met some great boaters there, quite a friendly place. Complimentary bikes were appreciated, we took them a couple times to Deltaville Tap & Raw Bar, only a couple miles away. That’s a great place too, gotta go there! We had such a blast at SH Stingray Point, can’t wait to come back!!

What a delightful marina experience! Mary gave us excellent instructions on navigating the channel in to the marina and met us at the dock. The marina is remote - at the far end of the peninsula at Stingray Point. Mary offered a ride in to pick up a pizza and visit the local produce stand. The marina is set in an idyllic woodsy location lots of room to walk/ bike ride or walk the dog. Free laundry & a sparkling pool are the icing on this cake. Highly recommend!!

Shoutout to Mary for being onsite providing detail entry instructions and help with lines. Mary went above and beyond to welcome us and explain the marina facilities. A great place to visit. We will plan to return on our trip.

Awesome staff, a big thank you to Mary for dock assistance and great recommendations on what to do. Very cool "summer camp" vibe, loved it! Rustic setting, so peaceful and beautiful, large 20 acre facility but easily walkable. Fabulous pool set among the trees, met several fellow boaters there. Very clean bathhouses, there are 3 on site! Clean laundry room as well (and free to use.) Really cool lighthouse replica where the office is, a good photo op. Several grills with tables, chairs and fire pits throughout the grounds. Deltaville Tap & Raw Bar just a couple miles away so biked over (bikes available onsite) Went there twice, great food and drinks, fantastic service too! Monday is $1 oyster specials, loved it! Thanks to everyone who maintains the beauty of this amazing marina; I miss its serene setting and highly recommend making it a stop along your way!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The pre arrival information was very well laid out with details for entry and maps showing exactly where we were going to be docked. Mary and Lee could not have been more accommodating. The pool was an added extra!

Super nice! Staff is so attentive and the new floating docks are great! I really like the email before arrival with pictures of harbor approach, slip assignment and marina info.

What a beautiful marina. It is tucked around the bend in the harbor but the dock manager Mary gave us excellent directions. She was standing on the dock to greet us. We were a late arrival and sine there are no Ubers in Deltaville, she personally took us to our Inn (which was another hidden gem)! We had not planned to stop in Deltaville but weather forced us in. Sooo glad that it did or we would have passed up this experience!

They have one of the absolute sweetest marinas! We loved the peaceful nature of the cove surrounded by pine forests and cottages. We'd love to come back some day.

Excellent marina. Quiet and peaceful. Very well kept. Rural so if you have bikes easy ride to town. Walking is a distance. Loved this location. Mary and her directions are spot on. Lee is fantastic. Great help docking and made sure our stay was great. Great grounds and area to walk spiritually dogs and let them run. Clean and mice restrooms and showers. Nice laundry area. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would come back again.

Loved our stay at Stingray Point! Tina and Lee are very personable and helpful. The park like setting feels like a campground with grills, fire pits, loaner bicycles, etc. Very protected marina. Absolutely recommended Stingray Point.

Spent several weeks here. I love the low-key, somewhat campground feeling to it. You just want to relax and hang forever! Tina and Lee are superb people — knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! Loved it here, and sorry to be leaving! Hint: A & B docks closer to the newer bathrooms, Free laundry, and pool house.

What a nice surprise! On our way home from a long ICW trip, we ran into bad weather and had to detour into Deltaville. My wife did a quick search into nearby marinas and as a Safeharbor member we came across SH Stingray Point. Tina and Lee were so accommodating and pleasant in the last minute booking and in helping us tie up. A lot of green space and nice grounds for dogs. Internet was strong and bathrooms were beautiful. We even took advantage of the free laundry machines. We'll be back again.

Deltaville, Va is one of the numerous peninsulas at the many river ends within the Chesapeake Bay. A marina with a traditional Chesapeake Bay Screw-pile lighthouse as their office.

Great Hurricane hole and year round home port with lots of friendly weekenders and locals too!

Our non-profit was donated a boat that is berthed at this marina. The staff could not be friendlier. They volunteer to help with problems. I will miss this marina when we head south

About Safe Harbor Stingray Point

Slip holders enjoy many amenities including three bathhouses and a pool in a park-like setting. In addition, the marina holds a variety of social events throughout the season to create a fun atmosphere and build community.

Safe Harbor Stingray Point is the eastern-most marina on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, at the mouth of the Rappahanock River on Broad Creek. The Marina is located 1.5 miles East of Deltaville, Virginia on State Route 33. Surrounded by a heavily wooded area, it is the last developed area on the left before turning to Safe Harbor Stingray Point. It provides access to the wonders of the Bay within a few minutes: its secluded creeks and scenic rivers, its open waters for distance sailing, its abundant wildlife (eagles, ospreys, porpoise, gulls, wading birds and waterfowl) and its copious fishing and seafood grounds.
