No staff but a great place to stay, good slip, power and water hook up and awesome town. Showers and laundry. We are coming back

Had to wedge into a slip about 1 foot wider than my boat. Finger piers too short, had to climb over the rail on the bow. No wifi in the marina. One toilet in the restroom for 7 transient boats and at least two liveaboards just not enough.

Give it 2 stars for the location. Everything is within walking distance. We were given an outside dock that without help from another boater, we would not have been able to dock. If it’s windy, ask for inside dock as there is no one to help you during the week. There was no one physically present during our stay . WiFi didn’t work. Shower, laundry located upstairs . Just ok shape,

We had a great time! Convenient to all the shops and a perfect spot to be during the Dare Days Festival! Thank you!

It’s all about the location which is very good. However there were some negatives. Men;s shower stalls are a little dated, there was no WiFi available during our entire stay. They say to use the city WiFi but there was no signal at the docks, so I feel like a refund is due for not having this as advertised. The Dockmaster is mostly absent. We stayed 4 nights.

No staff to greet me upon arrival. No way to pay for services. No one to talk about purchasing items. I had to leave a day early and couldn't communicate that to marina staff. No Dockmaster. Y'all need to figure your operation out. I would like to discuss the payment with management to accommodate the unexpected departure for weather.

The marina downtown Manteo is awesome. Plan to go next weekend.

We stayed at the free docks and the marina dock. The docks are 75 feet from each other. Pros: right in the downtown area, we biked to the beautiful Elizabeth Gardens ACE hardware, and the grocery. It was quiet at night. The bathrooms and showers were spacious, well ventilated and clean. Cons: If there were any employees we didn’t see them. They advertise a DIY pumpout $5. The Pumpout was padlocked. No cleats on the docks you pay for. Plenty of cleats on the free docks. The majority of the free docks were under construction. We saw the lounge but the door was locked. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Superb communication via Dockwa, covering navigation tips as entering the bay, slip assignment and map of the marina. Everything we needed to know without having to ask any questions!

Nice marina, easy to extend our stay, clean comfort station, close to downtown restaurants, stores and activities. Hard to get out as the channel is shallow and storm winds had blown the water out of the bay.

Same as last year. There is no DockMaster for Manteo Waterfront Marina. No help in docking. ( Dockmaster's office closed ) Manteo is using Dockwa in place of a DockMaster. We did get good communication via DockWa. Finger piers are too short. Marina is often bouncy from wind and wakes. We love the town and will keep coming back.

No dockmaster, no ice and no recycling

The Marina was well protected and very quiet. Dock Master was very friendly and helpful. Couple of issues- finger piers are very short making it hard to get on and off of some boats and there is no system to exchange bills for quarters for the laundry.

We stayed on the T Head 7A. We had a great view, the Marina is in a great location. The price for our slip was reasonable. We showed up one day late due to boat issues and were graciously refunded our money without even having to ask. Cudoes to management! Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent location. The best. Facilities are absolutely fine. Could have used some help pulling into the slip, but none was available.

Overall, a great location and amenities. The marina is walking distance to many restaurants and other attractions in Manteo. The reasons for not giving a 5-star rating are due to the slips being oversized for my 25' boat. It took quite an effort to get the rigging lines set in a large slip with no cleats and it was difficult to get in and out of the boat given to height of the dock. There was also no store for basic needs close to the marina.

Docks can use some cleats for tying up

Beautiful small southern town, nice marina with easy access and everything within walking distance. Planning to stop back next season for a longer stay.

We enjoyed our stay for the Independence Day fireworks!! Chris helped us find our slip as we are new to Dockwa. It would be helpful if the assigned slip was included in the email reminder so that all of the needed information is available in one place. The Manteo Marina is very easy to approach with our 42' sailboat and convenient to restaurants and shops.

Manteo is always a nice stop. If you’re on a T-head, you’ll want to rig your fenders horizontally to bear against the pilings. Pay close attention to the intersection where the Manteo Channel turns off. If you are coming from the north, the red markers will switch from port side to stbd at the junction.
