Nice stay on the brand new "mega dock". Staying on the inside of the mega dock made for calm nights. Nice showers, laundry and bathrooms. Great having a shuttle service (on the hour) to take us into Charleston proper where the restaurants were amazing. This time of year they run the shuttle 9-5:45. We would take it at 5pm to go to dinner and walk back to the marina. Safe walking and beautiful streets. Be prepared for a long walk if you are on the megadock! Nice that pump out and fuel is right at the slip. Would definitely stay again.

Nicely maintained facility, responsive and courteous staff, walking distance to beautiful downtown Charleston, plus there is a shuttle bus to take you to and from town and even the nearest Westmarine!

One of the best. Simple as that. It is not the cheapest, and we are not too pleased with the variable pricing based on inventory. We stayed just a few nights, but enjoyed every minute. Everyone was very accomidating. Best feature is the shuttle to town and restaurants. If you know the city, and the traffic at all hours, you know what a great thing it is to have the shuttle. We are a gas boat and really wish they had both gas and diesel. As part of the SH family we can say this is a great one.

Unlike most safe Harbor properties this facility does it right. With the exception of the ridiculous dockage fees this staff has kept it’s principals. Hat’s off to Trey and his staff and the over engineered remodel might be excitingo. As a guy who spends a 100K a year with Safe Harbor it would be nice to be invited into the club. Membership requirements should be reviewed. This coming from a marina owner. .

Excellent amenities. Knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you navigate the currents and tight quarters. Special shout out to Matt (aka Dillon) and Hannah for all of their help! Courtesy shuttle is an excellent service as it helps make provisioning and exploring Charleston more accessible. Great laundry and shower facilities as well!

The marina is working hard to improve their amenities, and their staff is terrific, however I am not happy with their new "dynamic" pricing, that prices a slip based on supply and demand. It is hard for small boats(37') to plan way ahead and avoid this pricing change, due to weather constraints, and so it takes advantage of those making reservations within a week of their stay. We'll be more prepared for this next time, but if Safe Harbor keeps buying up everything, the smaller boats will take the hit, and they'll be no competition.
