Excellent location and facilities. Club staff and Club Officers were very friendly and accommodating. This is a great stop for itinerant sailors or to hole up in a storm. It looks like a very active sailing club and if I lived near Port Jefferson I would join.

Had a dinner reservation on shore. At last minute, told that the launch service only ran until 6 PM. Had to cancel reservation. Website says service runs until 11 PM. Would have been nice to know. No discount for the mooring, of course.

This was our first time here and definitely will come back in the spring. Very nice & easy to come into the harbor. There is a launch as well a park next door. Definitely would like to stay longer in the spring.

We love using the moorings at the PJYC. It’s easy to walk to town. The moorings are also close to their dinghy dock if you bring your dinghy, if not they do have launch service. Even though Port Jeff is the next West from ours we love to go there for a little get away that feels like a vacation.

Great help Nice stay! Always friendly they actually answer channel 68 unlike some other places🙃 but when we go to Port Jeff, we rely on the yacht club for some conveniences

Wifi still needs improvement.
Don't promote it if it is not usable!
Otherwise the pickups better than past years. Had a good stay again.

We do advertise that free WiFi is available at the docks. What slip were you in so we can check the signal strength. Coverage in the mooring field has always been spotty and therefore we do not advertise that WiFi is available in the mooring field.

My stay at PJYC was great. The staff were all accommodating and friendly. The facilities are solid with a comfortable lounge outside the restrooms and showers. Launch service was always quick and efficient. I would be happy to stay there again anytime.

Web site advertised an hourly mooring rate that was incorrect. Real price was double. Mooring we were directed to was totally fouled. Several moorings were available.

Just great people, a beautiful harbor, and a quaint town. Could not have been easier or better. The launch master that ferries us from the mooring balls to the marina is fantastics, and they all know how to be efficient and very accommodating.
About Port Jefferson Yacht Club
The Port Jefferson Yacht Club offers temporary guest memberships including use of guest slips, and moorings ranging from 300 to 600 lbs, which are available for overnight cruisers. Fee includes launch service to and from our docks on the southeastern shore of the harbor, free WiFi at the slips as well as the use of our facilities. Port Jefferson Village is just a short walk from our docks. During July and August, launch service starts at 8 AM, 7 days per week and runs till 11 PM weekdays and midnight Friday through Sunday. See our Launch Schedule with specific hours of operation for other times. The Club's slips have power and fresh water. Overnight mooring guests may tie up to the dock to clean or provision their vessels during off-peak hours for up to 20 minutes (space is limited). Our clubhouse offers shower facilities, and a canopied deck with a fabulous view of Port Jefferson Harbor. Block and cube ice are available from our courteous launch staff.
