Stayed on a mooring. The whole staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Tenders were always available and the club is so close to town. A great place!

This was a very large, organized, pleasant mooring ball field. The launch drivers were very friendly, accurate and quick to help us if we needed it.
We did take apleasant walk to town and did some grocery shopping and a great Liquor store. was not out of the way to get to.

Excellent. We had a slight problem with shore power and they acted quickly and professionally to address it. To me that's a sign of well run facility. Staff are all very, very good.

First time at the Yacht Club. We stayed on the mooring. Very peaceful. Although the lines were pretty muddy. Could use some type of flotation to keep them off the bottom. Thanks.

Great place to stay. We did a dock one night and a mooring the next. Joe and Joe were great with help and running the tender out. The club was very welcoming for a nightcap. We will definitely be back

About Port Jefferson Yacht Club
The Port Jefferson Yacht Club offers transient guest facilities including slips, and moorings ranging from 300 to 600 lbs, which are available for overnight cruisers.
Dock & Slip Space up to 90'. (Space is limited above 56', contact us at [email protected] for availability)
Rates per foot have a 28' minimum for slips, and 36' for moorings.
Fee includes:
- Launch service to and from our docks on the southeastern corner of the harbor.
- During July and August, launch service runs 8 AM thru late evening.
- See our Launch Schedule with specific hours of operation for other times.
- Free WiFi at the slips.
- Power and Water at the slips.
- Block and cube ice are available from our courteous launch staff.
- Overnight mooring guests may tie up to the dock to clean or provision their vessels during off-peak hours for up to 20 minutes (space is limited).
- Use of our facilities including showers, grills, a canopied deck with a fabulous view of Port Jefferson Harbor, and a bar on weekends.
- Port Jefferson Village is just a short walk from our docks.
EXTENDED STAY DISCOUNTS: For mooring reservations of 7 to 27 days, the daily rate is $60/day regardless of boat length. Mooring reservations of 28 days and longer are $54/day, regardless of boat length.
Booking Info
We offer daily moorage and hourly dockage, and Day trips are available. Dock and moorings day reservations are limited in availability.
Slips are $3.40/ft to $6.75/ft
Moorings are $1.68/ft to $1.76/ft
Docks are $1.25/ft/hr with a two hour minimum. Moorings are $50 for a day trip.
Check-In is after noon.
