Pleasant stay. Wish the restaurant was open, but understand. There were several boats there.
Marina Response:
Thank you for staying with us at Pebble Isle Marina! We're glad you had a pleasant visit and appreciate your understanding regarding the restaurant. Our Grey Heron Grill is currently open Wednesday through Saturday, so unfortunately your Tuesday stay fell just outside our operating days. We've extended our restaurant season further into the fall this year and hope to continue expanding our offerings for visiting boaters.
We appreciate you choosing Pebble Isle and hope your next trip brings you through when the Grill is open! Safe travels!

We had a great stay at Pebble Isle on As You Wish. Very clear channel markers coming in. Fast Fuel pump and good price. Helpful staff. Really neat hiking at Johnsonville State Park with historic Civil War sites.
Marina Response:
Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Pebble Isle Marina. It's great to hear that our channel markers, fuel dock, and team helped make your visit a smooth one. We're also glad you had a chance to explore nearby Johnsonville State Historic Park. We're fortunate it's such a unique piece of history right in our backyard!
We appreciate you making Pebble Isle a stop along your journey and hope to welcome 'As You Wish' back again soon. Safe travels and happy boating!

Staff was friendly, docks were good. The 50 amp didn't work at slip, but the two 30's did. Showers & bathrooms were not clean (main reason for 4 stars). Restaurant was fun and accommodating for the large group we had. We did drag bottom going around the end of the dock and we are under 4'.
Marina Response:
Thank you for staying with us at Pebble Isle Marina and for taking the time to share your feedback! We're glad to hear our team was friendly, the docks met your expectations, and that everyone enjoyed their time at Grey Heron Grill. We love welcoming groups of boaters and are happy our restaurant team could accommodate yours!
We do apologize for the issues you experienced with the 50-amp power connection and the cleanliness of our bathhouse. Both are important parts of the guest experience and we'll be following up with our team to address these concerns. We also appreciate you sharing your experience with water depths, as conditions can vary throughout the harbor and with the river at winter pool.
We appreciate your visit and hope to have the opportunity to earn that fifth star on your next trip through Pebble Isle. Safe travels!

Nice place manage depths closely shallow water everywhere
Marina Response:
Thank you for staying with us at Pebble Isle Marina! We appreciate the kind words and understand your concerns regarding water depths. We always encourage boaters to follow the marked secondary channel and contact our team in advance if they have questions about navigating into the marina or depth considerations for their vessel. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back on a future trip. Safe travels!

If it wasn’t for a fellow looper who was a master electrician, we would have left and asked for a full refund. We called the emergency number. No one answered we left a message to no avail. All the boqts had no power we docked in 1.8 ft of water or should i say mud. We arranged everyone on the docks electrical hookup to distribute the load better and got it all to come back on. No thanks to Pebble Isle
Marina Response:
Thank you for sharing your experience. We certainly understand how frustrating it can be to arrive after a day on the water and encounter an electrical issue, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
We did want to clarify that your concerns were not ignored. We received messages through Dockwa and began working through our established channels to address the situation, including communicating with an on-site contact and arranging for off-site emergency support. After following up with our on-site contact, we confirmed that power had been restored within approximately 30 minutes of the most recent message, before our emergency support was able to arrive.
We're grateful that a fellow Looper was willing to assist in the meantime. While we understand the frustration, our team was actively working toward a resolution, even if those efforts weren't immediately visible.
Regarding the reported water depth of 1.8 feet, that is highly unusual for our docking areas unless a vessel is positioned very close to shore. We'd be interested to know exactly where you were docked so we can better understand and investigate that concern.
We appreciate you visiting Pebble Isle and sharing your experience. While we recognize the inconvenience, we hope this provides some clarity on the efforts being made behind the scenes to address the situation. Safe travels along the Loop!

Marina is small but nice. Restaurant / bar is good, with weekend specials. The team is doing the best they can but operating without leadership. A courtesy car is advertised but not available. The backup alternative offered was also unavailable. There is no uber in the area. Bathrooms are in need of cleaning and there is only one washer and one dryer.
Marina Response:
Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the marina and Grey Heron Grill! We’ve extended our restaurant season beyond its traditional Labor Day closing, largely to better serve our traveling Loopers.
We understand the frustration regarding transportation. While our courtesy car is currently out of service, we arranged for a local third-party provider to assist our guests. Unfortunately, he experienced unexpected vehicle issues this weekend, and we apologize that this alternative wasn't available when you needed it.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the bathhouse. Cleanliness is a priority, and we'll continue working with our team to ensure our standards are being met. Due to the hurricane, we experienced an unusually high number of transient boaters this weekend, which placed additional demand on our laundry facilities. Typically, our washer and dryer accommodate our guests without issue.
We appreciate you recognizing our team's efforts. We have capable, experienced staff on-site who are empowered to make decisions and address guest needs, so we'd be interested to better understand what prompted your concern regarding leadership. If there was a situation where you felt something wasn't handled appropriately, we'd certainly appreciate knowing about it. We will reach out directly for further insight.
Outside of the transportation and bathhouse concerns, we'd welcome any additional feedback on what we could have done to make your stay a 5-star experience. We appreciate you choosing Pebble Isle and hope to welcome you back under more typical circumstances. Safe travels on the Loop!

Nice staff, secure docks. Was disappointed to find out they are no longer making cinnamon rolls for boaters. We have been anticipating it and talking it up to other boaters headed down the rivers.
Thanks Billy for your hospitality.
Marina Response:
Hi Chuck, thank you for staying with us and for the kind words about our staff and secure docks. We’re also glad to hear Billy provided you with great hospitality during your stay.
We’re sorry to disappoint you on the cinnamon rolls! We know they became a bit of a Pebble Isle tradition for returning boaters over the years and we certainly appreciate that you’ve been talking them up to others traveling the rivers. We hope the absence of that one tradition didn’t overshadow the other positive parts of your stay.
We were also curious if you had a chance to visit, or were aware of, our full-service restaurant Grey Heron Grill right here at the marina? Historically, the restaurant closed for the season on Labor Day but we’ve extended the season this year and continue to offer a full food and beverage menu well into the fall. If you weren’t aware the restaurant was still open during your stay, that’s helpful feedback for us as we work to better communicate the amenities available to transient boaters.
We appreciate you choosing Pebble Isle and hope you’ll stop back in on your next trip down the river. Maybe we can earn those other two stars next time! Safe travels!

It was narrow getting into the marina and shallow (5’) once inside. Had planned on doing laundry but the dryer is broken. Bathhouse is quite a walk from the docks and the showers are semi private- in need of a good cleaning. Nothing within walking distance. No courtesy car and Uber is unreliable. The food at the restaurant was very good and the restaurant staff was very attentive and friendly.
Marina Response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the food and received great service from our Grey Heron Grill restaurant team.
We did want to provide a few updates and helpful information for future guests. A new dryer was installed on Saturday, September 26, 2026, replacing the unit that was out of service during your stay. To clarify, the bathhouse is approximately a 2–3 minute walk from the transient dock and our team is addressing the cleaning concerns you mentioned to ensure the facilities are being properly maintained.
While Pebble Isle does not offer a courtesy car, we do work with a local transportation provider, Three Rivers Transportation (Bill) at 931-264-1172, who can assist guests with transportation in the area. If this option was not shared with you during your stay, we apologize and will make sure our team is doing a better job of communicating it to transient guests.
We appreciate the feedback and hope you’ll give us another opportunity to welcome you to Pebble Isle on a future trip!

Too many Spiders on my particular slip
Marina Response:
Thank you for your feedback. We understand that spiders can be a nuisance, especially during certain times of the year around the lake. Our team routinely works to minimize webs and keep the docks as clean as possible, but nature can certainly be a challenge on the water.
Because this review is anonymous, it's difficult for us to identify which slip or dock area you're referring to so we can address it directly. We'd appreciate the opportunity to help if you could contact us at
[email protected] with your slip number or any additional details. We value your feedback and want to make your experience at Pebble Isle as enjoyable as possible.

Great place to store your boat. Well sheltered and close to amenities.

Clearly marked deep channel into marina. When we arrived, we took on fuel but had difficulty with one of the pumps. which took nearly another hour. Dock hands knowledgeable friendly and helpful. Had meal at restaurant which just reopened under new owners. Good improvements but limited menu until fully up to speed. Great stop for any loopers traveling the Tennessee river. We will keep this marina on our visit again list.

For our off season arrival, this was a friendly, responsive, quiet and very beautiful marina. You will need to cook aboard or travel afar for food in morning season. We were happy to stay here and would do so again. We draw 4.5 ft and stirred up a lot of silt. However, we did not touch ground and the approach, while narrow, was very well marked.

Nice marina and staff! Fuel prices were great but delivered cinnamon roles put it over the top!
by Kevin B. on Oct 31, 2025
We couldn’t get there by dark so we ended up anchoring about 45 minutes away. Called Billy because we had heard about the cinnamon rolls and we were hoping to purchase some. He said we don’t normally do that except for our guests, but if you come by in the morning around 8:30 I’ll have some for you. So we headed in through the well marked channel to the Marina and indeed Billy was there to hand off some freshly baked and incredibly tasty cinnamon rolls! Wouldn’t even let me pay for them. Just said make sure that we stop the next time we’re through for an overnight stay which we definitely will do! Great fuel prices as well that actually end ends up being less than Paris Landing with their AGLCA or BoatUs discount. If you enjoy warm southern hospitality, this is the place to stay!

10/12/2025. Pebble Isle was a nice stay for the night! Be certain to follow the very well laid channel markers on the approach to the marina as it snakes its twists and turns. We were greeted at the fuel dock with a southern greeting and a nice price of 3.39 for diesel. The restaurant was sadly closed for the season and we left too early for the breakfast cinnamon rolls that are delivered straight to your boat in the morning but other boaters shared their five star reviews for their deliciousness!

Very nice. Quiet and homemade cinnamon rolls delivered to your boat.
If you need to go somewhere the dock workers will drive you.
