Two young men waved us on for docking....halfway tied us up and left. Turns out we needed to be in the spot backwards in order to hook up to shore power. My wife and I spun the boat, tied it up and hooked up to shore power ourselves.

Fairhaven Shipyard makes it easy...good communication, help waiting for us on the dock upon arrival, and a clean, welcoming facility. We enjoy walking to Fort Phoenix State Park where there is a nice beach and you can watch the boats come and go from the harbor. We enjoyed a superb meal at nearby Elisabeth's Restaurant.

Beautiful marina! Quick walk to restaurants. The Marina is immaculate and the Staff is very welcoming! We will be back next year!

Easy slips to get into & out of, dock hands couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, smooth water in the harbor even when it was blowing in Buzzards Bay. Doughnuts in the morning were a great touch too.

Staff is the greatest, Dockmaster Fred could not have been more helpful or nicer. Laundry machines work well and are reasonably priced. Great restaurant, Elisabeth’s is walkable .

Fairhaven Shipyard Companies is located on Buzzards Bay, in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, which is in the harbor of the historic working port of New Bedford. Protected by a hurricane barrier, we provide safe, convenient dockage for all of our customers. In addition to transient or seasonal dockage, we offer a full-range of shipyard services. On property, we have our own machine shop, comprehensive paint facility, multi-brand engine shop with factory trained mechanics, electrical department, welding/metal fabrication department, service and parts, and travel-lifts to haul your vessel.
