About Old Dominion Boat Club
The Old Dominion Boat Club welcomes members of reciprocating yacht clubs to visit us at our King Street and Prince Street docks. We offer a full-service restaurant, bar, and showers. Reservations are available to ODBC members to reserve 30 days prior to arrival, members of reciprocal yacht clubs 15 days before arrival.
Apologies, but we do not offer slips to virtual clubs or the general public.
Founded in 1880, the Old Dominion Boat Club (ODBC) boasts the oldest boating club in the Commonwealth of Virginia and continues to support its long-time heritage of rowing, boating, and philanthropy and fellowship. Today, our membership enjoys the benefits of a social club and breathtaking views of the historic Potomac River.
Located in Old Town Alexandria, the third oldest historic district in America and voted “The Best Small City in the U.S.” by Conde Nast Travelers, the club is within an easy walk to over 200 restaurants and boutiques. Our central location on the Potomac River also offers easy access to The District Wharf, Georgetown and Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., George Washington’s Mount Vernon and National Harbor. Take your boat or hop on a water taxi and let someone else do the driving.
Booking Info
The Old Dominion Boat Club has three T-ends available for ODBC members and members of reciprocal yacht clubs for transient use. When making a reservation request via Dockwa.com, please share your membership information (ODBC or reciprocal club name) in the "Special Request" section when submitting your Reservation request. Your reservation will not be approved and credit card charged until your ODBC or reciprocal club membership is validated.
Slips or T-head not previously reserved may be assigned to members or transients for a "day sail" (casual use for a few hours). Please indicate your expected arrival/departure time when making a "day sail" request. Day sails for non-members may be subject to a $30.00 fee.
