The YC moorings are in the outer harbor’s north cove, a very uncomfortable place in a south wind. We picked up our reserved mooring and immediately decided to move elsewhere after looking at the weather for the following day. Could not contact club since there is nobody there on Sundays and Mondays.sent a note through Dockwa and never got a response. Disappointing.

Easy to make reservation Ball provided in Sherman Cove Peaceful, protected easy access to town.

Did a great job of accommodating us when other boat had engine trouble on our intended mooring. Always a beautiful spot to watch the boat traffic.

Very friendly staff and launch drivers. Floating dock in good condition. Visitors should know that no showers are available.

We arrived to the outer harbor and checked out the ball numbers they provided. A swell was coming in out of the SE and the anchorage was unsuitable for us, too rolly. When we contacted CYC and asked for a partial refund for the last night we were informed they had a 7 day advance refund policy. We were charged for 3 nights and didn’t use their mooring at all. I felt like they were pretty aggressive about their policies.

Let’s just say Harbor
Edacet is a thing of the past , gone , out the door . Boats just plowing through the harbor ; wakes be damned . Never saw harbor Patrol , of course Camden is not alone ….. till someone gets hurt …..

Great service. The woman at the dock guided us too our mooring aboard her launch, and when we wanted to stay a second night, although it had been reserved, she talked the people who had reseyed it, into taking another mooring, so that we didn’t have to move.

Great casual yacht club in a picturesque town. Very friendly and helpful members. Our mooring was occupied so they gave us a spot on the dock.

Hello, Very pleasant staff and old style Yacht club with seats overlooking the bay. I Just wish there was a shower for the kids but will come back.

Our stay with Camden YC was very nice. We were escorted to a float in a great location well up in the inner harbor, providing easy access to town. The only issue was the goose poop covering the float. It took considerable sweeping and scrubbing the clean the whole float to usable condition. How about installing a means to deter geese from landing there: fake owls? waving wires? whirly gigs?

About Camden Yacht Club
CYC is a small yacht club in MidCoast Maine. We do not have showers or laundry. We have a seasonal lunch room that serves between 11:30-2:00pm. Tues - Saturday. There is launch service in high season between 8am - 8pm.
Please note the "Docks" booked through Dockwa are floating docks located roughly 75' from shore. Please refer to the photos on this profile for more information on their location.
