Safe Harbor Burnt Store

The marina put us down in the corner right next to where they were building a new dock. The noise was bad enough but when they sawed off the tops of the pilings, our boat was totally covered from bow to stern with treated lumber sawdust. What a mess on a brand new boat!!! There also was construction going on with the building right next door which added to the noise factor. There were other side ties available that they could have give us which would have avoided some of the noise and all of the sawdust. We needed a side tie because my wife is just recovering from a broken bone in her foot.

Overall the stay was good! However the dockmaster paid no attention to the dimensions of the boat or type when assigning the slip locations. Additionally I called a week before arriving and told them I needed a side tie because of mobility issues. It was totally ignored! They put me in the worst possible location for getting out in a north wind situation. Ruined my whole stay!

Everything was good and I really appreciated the help I received when docking, since I was alone. The only wish that the dock had lights for at night. It was pretty dark out and hard to see without the lights working on the dock.

The crew at Safe Harbor Birnt Store could not have been more accommodating. Lovely large deep pool approximately 85 degrees. Clean showers and bathrooms. Food is delicious and service was outstanding. Fuel dock busy this Am!

We brought 20+ boats in for our club Regatta and we do pleased with the level of service and responsiveness. Terry assisted with front end arrangements and slip assignments. Jordan was a rock star. Need dock carts... done... need propane.. done... need cart ride to the pool... done!

We went to Burnt Store to hide from high winds and couldn't have had a nicer marina. It is well protected tucked away and offers protection from all directions. When we arrived, the dockhand was super patient and helpful as the wind & current were working against us. The laundry accepts plastic. Who ever has enough quarters? There is a nice dockside restaurant, a deli and ice cream shop and across the property a nice pool to cool off. On Monday, near the pool is a Farmers Mkt where we bought several fresh veggies & fresh bread. The fuel dock personnel couldn't have been nicer. We let them know we were headed over as we were headed out, they helped with lines and were knowledgeable about the area. We SO appreciate the fuel discount Safe Harbor offers members and we took full advantage by filling up.

Great marina and helpful staff!

Called the marina when entering the channel for docking instructions and was given our docking assignment and told that two dock hands would meet us there to help. When we arrived at our slip there was no help to be found and a stiff wind blowing us off the dock. Luckily a neighbor boater helped us get tied up.

Easy in easy out. However, the pump out was not working...ouch.

The Office arranged with a crew member to assist with the mooring on arrival, and plugged in our shore power. Superb attitude and one felt welcome to the Marina. I soon realized that we only had one leg powered up. We sent an email to the office that for the night we would be OK but would appreciate someone to take a look at the problem the following day. Sure enough, about 8:30 AM the electrician was down at the dock and about an hour later we had full power. All the staff was very nice and helpful, and the restaurant was good. We will be back again when we are up in the area. Thanks to you all for making our stay very pleasant.
