We really enjoyed the pool. More important though, the people were so friendly and kind. We loved using the flat iron grill for breakfast and another gas grill for lunch. afternoons were spend sitting on the porch or floating in the pool. it was a perfect short getaway for us from PYC.

A gem on the Hudson!!
We stayed two nights to allow time for re-provisioning our boat as we headed up the Hudson toward the Erie Canal. The WYC members and staff were a wonderful bunch of folks, proving both friendly and incredibly helpful.
We were graciously provided a ride to the market a few miles away, by the Fleet Captain, Matt, making for an easy trip. We were also able to pick up maintenance supplies at the yard next door.
During our stay, we met several members, spent some time chatting over a beverage on the patio, and took advantage of the absolutely sparkling salt water swimming pool to cool off. We made some new friends, chatting at our boat, receiving some top notch local Italian goodies for our trip. A surprise gift to go with our tomato plants we have aboard, was left for us by another member
Marlboro Yacht Club is a stop you don't want to miss when running up to down the Hudson!
Marina Response:
Hi Thomas,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful, detailed review of your stay!
We absolutely love welcoming boaters from other clubs, and we are so glad we could be a memorable highlight of your journey up to the Erie Canal and the St. Lawrence! I’ll be sure to pass along your incredibly kind words to Matt (our Fleet Captain) and the rest of our members—including the ones who Left you that surprise gift to go with your tomato plants! Helping out passing cruisers is just who we are, and it was a pleasure sharing great conversation with you regarding yacht club endeavors!
Safe travels as you navigate the canals and make your way up north! You have an open invitation to tie up at Marlboro Yacht Club whenever you make your way back down the Hudson.

We were met upon arriving at the slip by 2 Marina members that assisted in docking and tying the boat up. The pool and its surroundings are brand new. Pool was clean. Bar is open for 3 dollars a drink. Bathroom are new and kept clean. Town is a 20 minute walk uphill but members will give you ride. Town has several good restaurants. I would recommend The Marlboro Marina and will be visiting again.
Marina Response:
Thank you for the great review! We're glad you enjoyed our facilities and experienced the hospitality of our members. It was our pleasure to welcome you, and we appreciate your recommendation. Safe travels!

Great local community here (during W.E.) All volunteers so less service before late afternoon ( and probably mid wk?) Good floating docks, minimal wake. Short uber to restaurants (or locals may take you!)
Marina Response:
Glad to hear it Vernon! Thank you for the five star review. Safe travels to you!

Excellent stop to cool off on warm summer day. Yacht Club has a pool and happy to share with transient boaters. No diesel but they will call fuel truck for you if you tell them ahead of time. Easy long dock with side tie. Plenty of deep water all the way to the dock.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the five star Tim. Glad you enjoyed what we have to offer and made your stay that much better. We enjoyed the time with you . Safe travels to you

The people were very pleasant and helpful. The bathrooms were spotless. The town was small, but quaint. Thanks to Rich and Sue for driving us around.
If you are staying at the marina, have Marla's Pizza deliver dinner. We were told to order one meal and share it. Great advice! Our meal was delicious and we even had leftovers.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the 5 star Gary and kudos to Rich and Sue, glad they could help you out. Safe travels!

Marlboro Yacht Club rolled out the red carpet for us!! Communication with the member-run club was great, the welcoming “pit crew” was available to handle our lines upon arrival and they treated us like royalty! They welcomed us into their club immediately with a brief tour of facilities, greeted us with friendly conversation at the pool, invited us to an amazing dinner at the clubhouse and then entertained us with stories over evening cocktails. We couldn’t be more pleased with the friendly members, clean facilities and inviting atmosphere. We highly recommend MYC for any loopers cruising north on the Hudson or any boaters coming through the area!!
Marina Response:
Thank you so much for the awesome review April, we appreciate it. So happy you had a positive experience at MYC, what we always set out to do for our guests. Sounds like all bases were covered for you! Safe travels to you and yours.

This is a great stop. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Pump out is good. The dock power is good. It’s not a no wake zone. Train is noisy but no fault of the yacht club. I would suggest putting on the yacht club website about the fuel truck availability with a minimum amount purchased. (Thanks Matt). Would definitely stop again
Marina Response:
Welcome to the Hudson River Jerry, home of the freight trains! We appreciate the 5 star review and will consider your suggestion about the diesel truck for sure. Safe travels to you and yours.

Great stop. This is a small member run club. They go out of their way to welcome transients and will help you however they can including driving you into town.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the 5 star Mark, much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed your stay and safe travels!

Great marina, great facilities, and really friendly members that really care about your stay. There is some wake when a tug passes by but not too bad. Enjoyed our short one night there. Oh and the pool is a nice addition too. Highly recommend.
Marina Response:
Thanks so much for the visit and your review Frank, much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed the club and a dip in the pool, our pleasure to have you. Safe travels.

Stayed 3 nights while in the area waiting on weather and visiting family. Great stop. Staff (member volunteers) were very helpful, friendly. Great grilling facilities. A bit of an uphill walk into town but if you go, there is a great Italian deli and a pretty good live music venue. Club member usually hang around every evening socializing and welcome transients into the “circle”.
Would definitely stop again.
Marina Response:
Thanks for the review Mike. We are impressed with you conquering the Mt Everest of Marlboro, well worth the short hike up the hill! We are delighted you had a positive stay, and took advantage of what we have to offer and our family 'circle' spirit to complement it all. Safe travels.

Nice stop on the way up the river. The town is a short walk up a steep hill but we had several club members ask if we wanted a ride. Very friendly group with a nice club house set up. Loved the pool. If you enjoy the smaller marinas that treat you like family, this is it.
Marina Response:
Appreciate the great review Kurt! Glad you conquered the Mt Everest of Marlboro lol with a little help and that you enjoyed your stay with us. You can be assured that family is always here for you. Safe travels...

If you’re traveling the Hudson River, Marlboro Yacht Club should be at the very top of your list of stops.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was simply incredible. The dockhands were beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Even routine services like pump-outs were quick and easy, making our stay completely stress-free. They also can have a diesel truck come and they provide really great pricing.
What truly sets this marina apart, though, are the people. The members welcomed us like family, offering rides into town, helping with anything we needed, and constantly making us feel at home. One evening, they even cooked dinner for a large group of us—a gesture that perfectly captures the spirit of this place.
We also enjoyed the pool and the beautiful marina facilities, but the real highlight was the community. The warmth, kindness, and generosity of everyone we met made this one of the most memorable stops of our entire journey.
We’ve stayed at many marinas, and Marlboro Yacht Club stands out as something special. If we ever cruise the Hudson again, this will absolutely be a stop we make. Thank you to everyone there for an unforgettable experience!
Marina Response:
Thanks so so much for the very special review Boundless, and for your time spent with the 'family'. We truly enjoyed your company and glad we could spend the moments with you all. Thanks for those drone shots of the club as well, we will put them to great use in highlighting our club, community, and offer for VIPs like you. Safe travels as you work your way up the Hudson River and beyond. Always here for you!

Marlborough Yacht Club was a great stop for us. The marina is member-volunteer run, and everyone we met was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. The facility is very nice, with a pool, clubhouse, and a great porch for sitting, relaxing, and taking it all in.
We will definitely stop again on our next go-round. Honestly, this is the kind of yacht club you dream of being a member of. Great people, great setting, and a very memorable stop.
Marina Response:
We appreciate the great review Stephen, and that you enjoyed what we have to offer and the membership as well! What we always strive to provide, an A+ experience. Safe travels.

I stayed at the Marlboro Yacht Club for three nights. I highly recommended it. The members were very friendly. They met me at my dock to catch my lines as I was a sailing solo. After a dip in their refreshing pool, I hung out on the porch with about a dozen other loopers. If you walk up a the hill behind the yacht club there’s a small town, with good restaurants and bars. The burger at the Raccoon claims to be the best in North America. It was very good. I would definitely consider returning.
Marina Response:
Great to have you for the extended stay Richard, and thanks so much for the kind words about your experience at MYC. The Raccoon Saloon does serve the best burger lol!!! Hope to see you again...Safe travels.

A Hidden Gem on the Hudson
Marlborough Yacht Club is a truly special stop on the Hudson River. Yes, being right on the water means you will get some rocking and rolling, but trust us when we say the experience more than makes up for it.
What sets Marlborough apart is that it is entirely member run with zero hired help. Every single volunteer who greeted us did so with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. From the moment we arrived, someone was right there to help us tie up and make us feel at home.
We were lucky enough to pull in on a night when the club put on an incredible feast. There were about a dozen fellow Loopers gathered together, and they were without a doubt some of the friendliest, kindest, most generous people you could ever hope to meet. Every conversation was uplifting, every offer to help was sincere, and the sense of community was something truly special.
The front porch is the perfect gathering spot to swap stories and take in the river views, and if the weather drives you inside, the bar and tables offer a cozy and welcoming alternative. Either way, you are surrounded by good people in a great setting.
One small detail worth mentioning: train tracks run right alongside the marina, and the trains do blow their horn each time they pass through. The good news? We only heard them when we were awake!
As a bonus, The Falcon is just up the hill, a fantastic live music venue that is absolutely worth the short trip. If you love great music in a unique setting, do not miss it!
If Marlborough Yacht Club is on your route, do not pass it by. It is one of those stops that reminds you exactly why you love the Loop. Highly recommended! Follow us on Facebook @Kwiat Nights III

Marina Response:
Kwiat Nights we are blushing.... You could not have been more kind with your review and detail about our club members and the community. We so enjoyed having you and was awesome that we all spontaneously got together on a Friday night to have that meal together and drink and laugh throughout the evening. Safe travels to you and we love this looper community as much as you enjoyed the club and Hudson River Valley!!
by Jay W. on Jun 06, 2026
Update. Stopped here for the 3rd time. Great time again. Still the best people. Too many to name. We are so happy to see them welcoming so many transient boaters and loopers. We the best looper gatherings on the porch of the clubhouse with 5loop boars that we've experienced in 9 years. The club members were amazing hosts.
May 2025: The Universe was good to us!
We stopped for a night and stayed for weeks - yes, plural weeks.
We were having transmission trouble for longer than I care to admit. It was time to cross the Rubicon, and the stars aligned and pretty much forced us to land us at MYC! The best thing that happened to us.
I can't say enough about the people. Over the top accommodating. Over the top helpful. Over the top fun. Lots of legit knowledge that is shared openly if you want, but not thrust upon you unwelcomed.
The setting is beautiful. The facilities are beautiful (bathrooms, clubhouse, pool, party pavilion, fire pit area). They have a travel lift and a full service marina next door. The view of the river is outstanding. You should always be able to find someone here. Weekends you'll be greeted by more people than you've ever been greeted by before.
Yes, there are trains, you can't get away from them anywhere on the Hudson nor the Erie Canal. You're just going to have to get used to it!
The boat clubs on the Hudson River are a welcome, and refreshing change from stuffy marinas. Give them a shot. Particularly MYC! If you're lucky, you'll come across one of their many fun events!
MYC is now in our short list of "regular stops".
Thank you, MYC!
Marina Response:
Jay and crew = A1 Guests! Not just that but we might need to make you all honorary members at the club! And thank you for the helping hand on several occasions. We love the universe as much as you do. When you get under way... all the best , safe travels, and pass word down the line amigo. From all of us at MYC!!!

This was a very lovely YC to stay at. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The Fleet Capt, Matt, drove us to town and had some great dinner recommendations.
Marina Response:
Thanks so much for the kind words Susan, we were delighted to have you at MYC. Glad Matt connected you with your dinner destination. Safe travels!

We stayed 1 night then decided to stay a whole week. We were greeted by helpful members who secured our boat. The next morning they arranged a fuel truck who provided first class fueling services at a great price. We spent time meeting the amazing community of proud invested members. It’s is amazing the effort they put into their space, boats and most noticeably their connections with one another. Loopers are welcomed with open arms. After receiving some great ideas, we rented a car (a club member gave us a ride to the rental facility) to go hiking, biking on the walk over The Hudson. Two trips to the culinary Institute. Two trips to a nearby winery and two trips to Planet fitness. The FDR home and library was very interesting to wander during today’s time. They are such nice, fun, and caring people, we hope we get to stay there again someday.
Marina Response:
This is music to our ears Greg. We loved having you for the week and so psyched you shared and loved the Hudson River Valley in our neck of the woods. All the best and safe travels, truly our pleasure to host you.
