A perfect stay! Absolutely the best staff! Knowledgeable, helpful and kind! The facilities are top notch, clean showers and bathrooms. The outside tiki area, swimming pool and clubhouse cannot be beat!
Marina Response:
Doesn't get much better than 'perfect stay' Rainier, thank you for the outstanding review! Looks like you took advantage of what we have to offer and put to great use, our intention exactly. Safe travels to you and yours.

Nice stop on the way up the river. The town is a short walk up a steep hill but we had several club members ask if we wanted a ride. Very friendly group with a nice club house set up. Loved the pool. If you enjoy the smaller marinas that treat you like family, this is it.
Marina Response:
Appreciate the great review Kurt! Glad you conquered the Mt Everest of Marlboro lol with a little help and that you enjoyed your stay with us. You can be assured that family is always here for you. Safe travels...

If you’re traveling the Hudson River, Marlboro Yacht Club should be at the very top of your list of stops.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was simply incredible. The dockhands were beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Even routine services like pump-outs were quick and easy, making our stay completely stress-free. They also can have a diesel truck come and they provide really great pricing.
What truly sets this marina apart, though, are the people. The members welcomed us like family, offering rides into town, helping with anything we needed, and constantly making us feel at home. One evening, they even cooked dinner for a large group of us—a gesture that perfectly captures the spirit of this place.
We also enjoyed the pool and the beautiful marina facilities, but the real highlight was the community. The warmth, kindness, and generosity of everyone we met made this one of the most memorable stops of our entire journey.
We’ve stayed at many marinas, and Marlboro Yacht Club stands out as something special. If we ever cruise the Hudson again, this will absolutely be a stop we make. Thank you to everyone there for an unforgettable experience!
Marina Response:
Thanks so so much for the very special review Boundless, and for your time spent with the 'family'. We truly enjoyed your company and glad we could spend the moments with you all. Thanks for those drone shots of the club as well, we will put them to great use in highlighting our club, community, and offer for VIPs like you. Safe travels as you work your way up the Hudson River and beyond. Always here for you!

Marlborough Yacht Club was a great stop for us. The marina is member-volunteer run, and everyone we met was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. The facility is very nice, with a pool, clubhouse, and a great porch for sitting, relaxing, and taking it all in.
We will definitely stop again on our next go-round. Honestly, this is the kind of yacht club you dream of being a member of. Great people, great setting, and a very memorable stop.
Marina Response:
We appreciate the great review Stephen, and that you enjoyed what we have to offer and the membership as well! What we always strive to provide, an A+ experience. Safe travels.

Great marina, great facilities, and really friendly members that really care about your stay. There is some wake when a tug passes by but not too bad. Enjoyed our short one night there. Oh and the pool is a nice addition too. Highly recommend.
Marina Response:
Thanks so much for the visit and your review Frank, much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed the club and a dip in the pool, our pleasure to have you. Safe travels.

I stayed at the Marlboro Yacht Club for three nights. I highly recommended it. The members were very friendly. They met me at my dock to catch my lines as I was a sailing solo. After a dip in their refreshing pool, I hung out on the porch with about a dozen other loopers. If you walk up a the hill behind the yacht club there’s a small town, with good restaurants and bars. The burger at the Raccoon claims to be the best in North America. It was very good. I would definitely consider returning.
Marina Response:
Great to have you for the extended stay Richard, and thanks so much for the kind words about your experience at MYC. The Raccoon Saloon does serve the best burger lol!!! Hope to see you again...Safe travels.

A Hidden Gem on the Hudson
Marlborough Yacht Club is a truly special stop on the Hudson River. Yes, being right on the water means you will get some rocking and rolling, but trust us when we say the experience more than makes up for it.
What sets Marlborough apart is that it is entirely member run with zero hired help. Every single volunteer who greeted us did so with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. From the moment we arrived, someone was right there to help us tie up and make us feel at home.
We were lucky enough to pull in on a night when the club put on an incredible feast. There were about a dozen fellow Loopers gathered together, and they were without a doubt some of the friendliest, kindest, most generous people you could ever hope to meet. Every conversation was uplifting, every offer to help was sincere, and the sense of community was something truly special.
The front porch is the perfect gathering spot to swap stories and take in the river views, and if the weather drives you inside, the bar and tables offer a cozy and welcoming alternative. Either way, you are surrounded by good people in a great setting.
One small detail worth mentioning: train tracks run right alongside the marina, and the trains do blow their horn each time they pass through. The good news? We only heard them when we were awake!
As a bonus, The Falcon is just up the hill, a fantastic live music venue that is absolutely worth the short trip. If you love great music in a unique setting, do not miss it!
If Marlborough Yacht Club is on your route, do not pass it by. It is one of those stops that reminds you exactly why you love the Loop. Highly recommended! Follow us on Facebook @Kwiat Nights III

Marina Response:
Kwiat Nights we are blushing.... You could not have been more kind with your review and detail about our club members and the community. We so enjoyed having you and was awesome that we all spontaneously got together on a Friday night to have that meal together and drink and laugh throughout the evening. Safe travels to you and we love this looper community as much as you enjoyed the club and Hudson River Valley!!
by Jay W. on Jun 06, 2026
Update. Stopped here for the 3rd time. Great time again. Still the best people. Too many to name. We are so happy to see them welcoming so many transient boaters and loopers. We the best looper gatherings on the porch of the clubhouse with 5loop boars that we've experienced in 9 years. The club members were amazing hosts.
May 2025: The Universe was good to us!
We stopped for a night and stayed for weeks - yes, plural weeks.
We were having transmission trouble for longer than I care to admit. It was time to cross the Rubicon, and the stars aligned and pretty much forced us to land us at MYC! The best thing that happened to us.
I can't say enough about the people. Over the top accommodating. Over the top helpful. Over the top fun. Lots of legit knowledge that is shared openly if you want, but not thrust upon you unwelcomed.
The setting is beautiful. The facilities are beautiful (bathrooms, clubhouse, pool, party pavilion, fire pit area). They have a travel lift and a full service marina next door. The view of the river is outstanding. You should always be able to find someone here. Weekends you'll be greeted by more people than you've ever been greeted by before.
Yes, there are trains, you can't get away from them anywhere on the Hudson nor the Erie Canal. You're just going to have to get used to it!
The boat clubs on the Hudson River are a welcome, and refreshing change from stuffy marinas. Give them a shot. Particularly MYC! If you're lucky, you'll come across one of their many fun events!
MYC is now in our short list of "regular stops".
Thank you, MYC!
Marina Response:
Jay and crew = A1 Guests! Not just that but we might need to make you all honorary members at the club! And thank you for the helping hand on several occasions. We love the universe as much as you do. When you get under way... all the best , safe travels, and pass word down the line amigo. From all of us at MYC!!!

This was a very lovely YC to stay at. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The Fleet Capt, Matt, drove us to town and had some great dinner recommendations.
Marina Response:
Thanks so much for the kind words Susan, we were delighted to have you at MYC. Glad Matt connected you with your dinner destination. Safe travels!

We stayed 1 night then decided to stay a whole week. We were greeted by helpful members who secured our boat. The next morning they arranged a fuel truck who provided first class fueling services at a great price. We spent time meeting the amazing community of proud invested members. It’s is amazing the effort they put into their space, boats and most noticeably their connections with one another. Loopers are welcomed with open arms. After receiving some great ideas, we rented a car (a club member gave us a ride to the rental facility) to go hiking, biking on the walk over The Hudson. Two trips to the culinary Institute. Two trips to a nearby winery and two trips to Planet fitness. The FDR home and library was very interesting to wander during today’s time. They are such nice, fun, and caring people, we hope we get to stay there again someday.
Marina Response:
This is music to our ears Greg. We loved having you for the week and so psyched you shared and loved the Hudson River Valley in our neck of the woods. All the best and safe travels, truly our pleasure to host you.

Hands down the friendliest Gettin' Loopy marina experience on the Hudson. Radioed in as we got close and before we knew it, 5–6 guys appeared at the dock like a pit crew on race day ready to catch lines and get us tied up. Instant VIP treatment.
They had an indoor bar and reception area, tiki hut, pool and great camaraderie, new friends, and dock talk. 🍹 Thank you Kyra for spoiling us!
Marina Response:
Thanks tons Gettin' Loopy, what a pleasure having you! We are happy you were happy, and appreciate the kind words, they go miles for us. VIP+ and more!!! We love the pit crew reference, we will institutionalize that one for sure. Cairo is our secret weapon lol! Safe travels...

What a beautiful little spot! These people take a lot of pride in their marina. There is a brand-new pool, a nice patio area and fire pit, as well as keypad entries into the bathroom/showers and onto the docks for security. We felt very welcomed and the hospitality was wonderful. This was our first time sleeping on our boat with our whole family and it went very well with the water and electric hookups. Everything was clean and well cared for. It was a little loud at night with the freight trains running close to the marina, but that is the case along this whole stretch of the river, not just this marina. This is member-run so the restaurant/bar is not always open, but there are ample places to order out from just up the hill from the marina. Some of the members were also very helpful, giving us tips on how and when we should navigate through the locks up into Mechanicville. Overall, a very nice stay and beautiful views! Thank you!
The Trout Family
Marina Response:
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, and for choosing to spend your first overnight on the boat with us! We’re thrilled to hear you and your family felt welcome and enjoyed the new pool, patio, and fire pit. Our members take great pride in maintaining a clean and inviting marina, so it’s wonderful to know that came through in your stay.
We understand the trains can be a little noisy at night, and we appreciate your understanding that it’s part of life along this stretch of the river. It’s also great to hear our members could share some helpful tips for navigating the locks—community and hospitality are at the heart of our marina.
We hope to welcome you and your family back again soon for more beautiful views and time on the water!

Matt and Gary are the guys you want greeting you as you come into the Marina! Personable. Relatable. Fun. And avid boaters themselves. Quick to grab a line coming into the gas dock to providing lines at slip for our stay. Matt was extremely accommodating and friendly
The Yacht Club is a 5 star club. Pool. Fire pit. Bar. Porch. Party patio. Ice machine. Amazing members. I only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. Fuel dock is easy access as well.
Located right on the Hudson River I highly recommend you make this a stop on your journey. Stay a few nights and enjoy the mountains, wineries and people !!! A++++
Marina Response:

This is a member owned, member operated yacht club. They have no employees. Members of the club met us, helped us do a pump out and get tied up in the slip. The pump out machinery is in great shape. On Dockwa, a slip for a 38 footer with two 30 amp wires was $124. The bathroom facilities are top notch. Very good floating docks. They pull them out each fall and put them out in the spring. They try to put transients wherever it makes most sense. They gave us several choices. They advertised Wi-Fi, but I could not connect.
We encountered 14-15 people while there. Every single one of them greeted us and welcomed us. One gave us a tour and another tried to buy me a beer at the club bar.
If I lived in the area, I’d join in a heartbeat!
Marina Response:
What a wonderful review, thank you Paul. We are so pleased to make your stay as pleasant as possible, and will be sure to triple check the Wi-Fi, our apologies there. Safe travels, from your friends at MYC

Members are very welcoming. Lots of folks met us to help get into ybe dock. Thier pumpout system was fantastic. We were invited to movie night at club. Srvefal members offered transportation to town. Town is about .9 mi to town and a fairly steep climb. Seversl restaurants and a small market in town. Highly reccomend!
Marina Response:
Thank you for your review Tim! We always welcome you back to MYC. Safe travels!

Great stop! We were greeted by 2 members at the docks and they even offered to buy the first round at the Yacht Club bar! As boat owners themselves they knew what we needed to know (tide, current, wind, wake, etc) to tie up safely.
Fuel, pump out and ice are readily available. River side marinas are all capable of getting some bounce to the boats and this one is the same. But it is limited to the working day and does not continue overnight. We slept like babies after a good quality mooring and simple traditional fenders.
We will stop here on every trip thru the middle Hudson River!.
Marina Response:
So glad to hear you enjoyed the stay Patty, you are always welcome at MYC. All the best and safe travels!!!

These guys are the best. The Commodore John is one of the nicest people I have met on The Loop. Their staff of support people are also great. Within 30 minutes of our arrival, we had been greeted by at least 10 members. We drank with them, had dinner with them, and watched movies with the members of MYC.
Marina Response:
Movie night, we must make that a fixture. Thanks for the great review Michael and safe travels. All the best from MYC!
